Stayed here for one night. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff polite. I had one drink in the bar which was reasonably priced. Room was comfortable, breakfast was decent and plentiful. One concern I would have that would probably put me off using is the parking. I was lucky enough to get what was the last space. Despite the hotel appearing fairly quiet the car park was full with many cars parked in areas not meant for parking. The road outside had multiple cars parked on pavement some covered in tickets. I can only guess the car park is used by people flying out. There aren’t any obvious nearby options if you couldn’t find a spot.

Hotel very clean and rooms very nice and well equipped. Pillows are extremely comfortable. Staff pleasant. Breakfast OK at best, nothing wonderful and food edible. Location not the best for access to airport. If you dont have a car its a trek on foot and not a nice walk for females travelling alone especially at night. All OK with stay until being charged £6 for 2 small bottles of water and despite having an allowance for food and drink on reservation, could not charge water to this as it appears that the ‘clock stops at midnight for this allowance and today is a new day, so have to pay for water’ is the receptionists interpretation of the hotel policy, when I asked for an explanation. I was too shocked not to pay and just wish I had overcome my bewilderment to challenge further. So £6 out of pocket for my 2 small bottles of water because I was unaware I should have bought them when checking in and not the next morning I left hoping I was never unfortunate enough to have to stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel and many others in Aberdeen City center , as far as being clean its spotless , also I have never had a issue with getting a space for my car like any other hotel at a busy location spaces come and go all the time My big issue with this hotel is the dinner option very limited and to think the Pizza is a frozen Goodfellows sold in asda for £3 but with a whopping £12+ price tag but you have a wonderfully resturaunt nearby in the Dyce farm that give decent quality cooked food .

Such an amazing hotel! Super quiet even near the airport! I love how amazing the views were of the runway and the hills in the distance! The room was so good. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was great! The hotel is about no more than a 5 minute walk from the bus stop which had a regular service to Aberdeen City. The hotel breakfast was also amazing this was our first time staying in a Hilton and we have continued to use the bran since as this stay was so good and have never been let down!

Hilton Diamond, Marriott Titanium wrote a review Oct 2023

Disappointing stay overall and really not good enough given the room rate is on par with full-service hotels. Context, I’m a long term Hilton Diamond member who stays at various Hilton brands extensively, including Hampton hotels around the world. That doesn’t mean I think I’m somehow superior to anyone else - it just means I have a LOT of experience stopping in Hilton brand hotels and am loyal (though starting to question the value of my loyalty given the lack of recognition from Hilton). I am staying here for 3 days in October 2023 for Business. First the positives - the place is new and very clean, the maids clean the room to a high standard on a daily basis, and the room itself is comfortable with a nice armchair. The aircon is super efficient. It’s not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but that’s not what Hampton is about. And the ‘Hello & welcome’ card in the room on arrival was a nice touch. Next the ‘meh’ - the TVs in the room are small compared to other Hiltons & Hamptons. The shelf it sits on could easily take a much bigger TV but this TV is smaller than my home office PC monitor. Also there’s not much imagination gone into the design - compared to for example, the Hampton at Waterloo which has funky pictures, mini Smeg fridges, vibrant colour schemes etc, this Hampton is bland and functional. Now the ‘Not very good’ bits. I tend to be a heavy sleeper so it’s very rare I get woken up in hotels, including ones in busy locations in Central London. But here I am being woken up several times a night. The doors are really thin and seem to let all noise into the room. I really pity those who get a room opposite the lifts as they must really suffer. Unlike most hotels where there is a lift lobby, the lifts here open directly opposite bedroom doors. Also The location is a bit ‘middle of nowhere’ - the nearest pub is a 20+ minute walk away (and that isn’t much cop). Finally the ‘not happy’ bits. The “restaurant menu” is really just a list of microwave standard meals. Choices are a Mac n Cheese, Lasagne, Pasta, Jalfrezi, Chilli con Carne, Feta Salad, Fishcakes Chicken Mushroom pie, Singapore Noodles or Red Thai Curry. Really poor selection really, made even worse by the fact that during my stay 2 of these were “unavailable”. Now you could argue that Hampton is a “cut down” Hilton brand - but they are still happy to charge premium prices for drinks, and I’m paying more per night here for this Hampton in Aberdeen than I have paid for full service Hiltons in London. The other show-breaker for me, is the car park. It’s rammed - during my entire stay I haven’t seen a single space available, and there are cars parked on the grass verges, on the pavements, all over the place. Taking a walk around the car park it’s clear many of these have been here some time (the brakes are rusted and there’s a layer of grime on the windscreens) suggesting many (maybe most?) of the cars in the car park belong to offshore workers. I strongly suspect the hotel ‘sells’ parking spaces to offshore workers to the detriment of guests actually staying in the hotel. This didn’t directly impact me as I flew in for business meetings - but if you’re planning to drive here, forget it - from what I have seen you stand zero chance of finding a parking space. One final “just not good enough” is the lack of perks for Diamond members. I’m not a diva - I don’t think I’m better than anyone else, but being a Diamond member means I stay at Hiltons 50+ nights a year. That means I’m a loyal and very profitable customer. If I stay in regular Hiltons (which cost around the same as this place does) I get access to Lounges with free food and drinks etc. Here, I get a voucher for 1 soft drink and 1 snack! So less than £2 worth of “perks”. And that is per stay, regardless of whether I’m here 1 night or 10 nights. There isn’t even a bottle of water in the room - NOTHING! It’s penny pinching policies like this that make me question my loyalty when I could stop elsewhere without any loyalty status and get much better service. Even Premier Inn recognise repeat loyal customers with perks better than this - and their rooms are significantly cheaper!

Thank you for your feedback. Guest satisfaction is important to us and I have pass on all your comments to all relevant departments. Our car park is just used by guests that have stayed in the hotel. Hampton is a limited service brand of Hilton. We do not have the facilities to offer our HH member access to lounges or even upgraded rooms as we do not have these in our hotel. Please contact me if you require any further assistance.

I had been coming here for years and the hotel itself is the usual good standards of a Hampton Hilton, but the car park situation has become absolutely diabolical. It is that bad I have finally started staying elsewhere on my visits to Aberdeen. The place is overrun by offshore workers not even staying at the hotel and Hilton have no interest to resolve it, culminating in regular paying guests getting issued 100 pound parking tickets on their stay.

The hotel is ok (one lift was out of order and, over 2 days, I saw not one maintenance guy on site) however their loyalties lie not with paying guests, but with the offshore workers who leave their cars in the car park. They take up around 90% of spaces (hotel will deny this but it’s true as 2 members of staff told me!) so people actually staying there need to bump up on pavements outside, therefore risking a parking ticket or worse. There is a sign stating if you can’t find a space then park at the airport…REALLY!!!! Haven’t stayed here for sometime and won’t until this is sorted out. It’s a pity the Westhill Hampton is closed as it’s a better hotel and nearer amenities ( the food offering at this one is hopeless) . It’ll be back to the Thistle at Altens for me.

This is a modern hotel with fantastic rooms and bathrooms, built to a high standard and maintained equally as well. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom design is well thought out with plenty of space to put things, a heated mirror and walk-in shower. The room and bathroom was so well maintained you could imagine you were the first person ever to use it. Ultra clean! The room a/c system was very quiet and effective. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful and the check-in was quick. There is a large surface car-park, but even so it does get busy. My only comments are: - On the second morning of our stay the (included) breakfast was stone cold, this was because someone forgot to turn on the hot plates, that was a pity as the breakfast on the first morning was hot and tasty. Also there is no plate warmer, so the plates are cold too. - As with most Hampton's they don't really do an evening meal, just a selection of microwave processed ready meals, so I suggest you make alternative arrangements if you want a dinner. - The range of beers is limited to "fizzy" chemical beers and believe it or not they still sell Bud Light (oh dear). - On our stay one of Schindler's Lifts was out of order, which did not impact our stay as the hotel was fairly quiet. Overall this hotel is an excellent choice and I can recommend it, hence the 5 star rating, despite the cold breakfast on day 2.

Hotel fine ....unfortunately parking Fine too.....!!! Knowing that parking was horrendous at the hotel from what I had read in previous reviews I booked my car into the airport long stay airport for our weeks holiday flying out of Aberdeen airport.only staying the night before we flew out and on our return due to early and late flight. Today I recieved a parking fine for £100 reduced to £60 if paid quickly for the grand total of 38 minutes ...this covered the time I arrived in car park from the long stay car park...and got our bags and checked out of hotel....38 minutes costed more than 10 nights in the airport long stay carpark. I will hold my hands up I should have read the signage but as a gold Hilton honors member I think its shocking that Hilton have got into bed with a car park company that thinks £100 for 38 minutes is justified in any way .hence why I can't recommend this hotel go anyone .
