Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rooms are fine, breakfast was a bit noisy due to ammount of people attending breakfast at the same time. Breakfast itself is fine, many choices. Overall hotel is clean and well maintained. Excellent location.

I don’t know the area, the was duel aspect onto 2 busy night club / pubs roads, noise started at 11:20 and went on till 4pm. Staff new the nature of my stay and if they were trained on the weaknesses of the place and the area the hotel is place. As they asked the nature of my stay and my very early start one would have thought they given another room. I was too tired to move that late at night. No offer was made in the checkout to address this, after my not unpleasant complaint, on one will tell me they don’t the standard of the weekend night life there, it would have formed part of market research and staff awareness of likely clientele, I conclude with plain thought less ness on their part.

Very comfortable large bed in a well proportioned room with en-suite facilities. Needed nothing else really. There is a small but functional gym in the hotel, an added bonus. This hotel is close to some great places to eat and within easy walking distance of the train station and shops, or a short taxi ride from the airport.

Stayed 2 nights here for a business trip, it was great but to get a taxi outside, you need to stay outside as the aberdeen weather sometimes "very friendly" to stay outside for longer period :). You can stay inside while keep wondering your taxi had arrived or not

Hi Paul Deans, thank you for your review. Sorry that you didn't receive your bedroom upgrade as a Radisson Rewards VIP Member. The team are ususally very good at acknowledging the loylaty of Radisson Rewards Members and, unfortunately, the availability of a Superior room is the reason you were not upgraded on this occassion. Appreciate your feedback as a loyal customer, thank you.

The Hotel as a whole is very nice, it's well decorated clean and fairly modern, staff are lovely and attentive. I had to check the Star rating as I was confused by all the small things that are weird exclusions! Firstly the beds, it's 2024! Even budget hotels have full sized beds not 2 singles pushed together, this after a week of waking up with a dead arm stuck between 2 beds resulted in a trapped nerve, killer! Secondly a lack of even a small fridge, been a while since I have stayed in one without even a small table top one. Foods fairly poor, breakfast is very hit and miss and I had dinner once wasnt great. Last complaint I promise was the noise outside, I thought that being behind union street it would be more quiet but it wasn't, I think if I was the other side of there hotel it wouldn't have been too bad.

After being double booked into a room (due to a system crash, apparently), and nearly walking in on another resident, I was given a front facing room on the fifth floor. The curtain didn't fully meet the edge of the window so there was a lot of light leakage overnight. The smoke detector flashed all night long. Unfortunately for Park Inn I'm light sensitive so this didn't aid sleep. The mattress is in need of replacing - the side collapsed and springs could be felt. Randomly I had three different types of pillows out of four: nothing matched. The carpets were worn and tired. The shower wasn't thermostatic and paid me back early for this negative review by freezing me occasionally before boiling me. I didn't bother with breakfast as I have stayed before on business and was disappointed. I doubt I missed anything. I feel that this lets the Radisson name down and really should be given a full refurb. It's tired, worn and creaking (literally with the mattress springs.) On the upside, it's a 15 mins walk from the station, meaning you can get away easily ...

Stayed here for two nights on business. Not a bad experience but the rooms need updating to keep up with the times. No USB (or power) sockets near bedside table. Bed was poor I could feel the springs in the matrass. No ambience in restaurant. Food and drink was pricey. As far as Hotel perks go, no room upgrade offered. Unlike Holiday inn no free drink at the bar for members. I would probably honour IHG group on future visits

A very disappointing experience staying last night. Check-in took over 20 minutes to navigate. There were 8 people in the queue and only 1 person on the desk. In spite of the queue being visible to other staff members, including what looked like the duty manager, there seemed to be no sense of urgency or intention to allay the situation. Whilst the receptionist apologised for my wait she did explain that sometimes it just gets busy… I went down to the bar for an hour later in the evening then couldn’t get back into my room at about 11:30pm as the keycard wasn’t working. After being recut a new key twice and the front desk staff adamant I must be the one in the wrong and wasn’t putting the card in properly one of the hotel team eventually came up to help me to discover the battery in the door lock mechanism had failed so he then had to phone someone off site to find out where the master physical key was and let me in. This whole saga took over half an hour. I guess these things happen but I would have expected the hotel to be more geared up for what to do when that happens or to routinely test or replace batteries. It was then inferred they couldn’t guarantee someone would be available right away to let me back into the room after my morning run or after breakfast in the morning so we decided it was best to pack up and move my room. I waited about 15 minutes at reception for them to find me a room. I asked what was keeping them and was told they were struggling to find a room the same spec as what I had paid for. At that point I was beyond caring and just wanted a bed. Would have been nice if they just asked instead of staring at a screen whilst ignoring me for 10 minutes. So in the end it took about an an hour to get from the bar to my bed. Happy days. Whilst I’m sure I was somewhat irritated and short in venting my own frustration the tone, manner and demeanour of the duty manager was not what I would have expected. No apology or explanation was offered to me and he was lacking in charm and basic courtesy. Very disappointing. Some basic customer service training is needed.
