Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just a quick overnight stay on my way back from the hebrides... So, what you need to know.... If you want the impersonal nonsense of a large chain hotel then look elsewhere. If you want a great little B&B, located close to the city centre, with a host that cares about giving you the best stop over, then this is your place! Easy to get to, fab service, a host that cares and easy access to the city. I lost with a desire to come back to Aberdeen but more so a desire to stay here when I do.! Great host, great hotel . Thank you .

On the 10th of September 2028. I spent 4 nights at the Bimini hotel in Aberdeen. The owner Colin greeted me and showed me to my room. The room was immaculate and Colin was really helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Aberdeen.

This property is family owned and you definitely feel the pride when you meet Colin and his mother. The room is fine for a couple for a quick night but a bit tight for a longer stay. It is very clean and breakfast is fabulous but the bed we had was very firm and could benefit from a pillow top. But price was good, felt very safe, and the location was great if touring city center, the beach walk, or Aberdeen football club. And really appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of Colin.

This was a lovely stay. There room was exactly what I needed and warm and comfy with a private bathroom. The location was perfect for where I was working, but also within walking distance of the restaurants and beach. Colin was very friendly and really helpful. I paid extra for breakfast and this was great - actually too much to finish! I would definitely consider staying here again.

I really enjoyed my stay Bimini Guest House during a recent conference. The owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to make the stay comfortable. He even left his Saturday night event to let me in when my arrival was much later than planned - not only was he gracious, but I got greeted at the door by a man in full Scottish regalia! Not a bad way to start my trip. The rooms are small but well put-together. The shower works well (which is more than can be said for many hotels), the bed is comfortable, and the location is excellent. Highly recommended.

Very friendly owner who helped me with luggage on arrival and gave advice about travelling up to the university. Nice room, comfortable bed, and really good electric shower. Great value for money (and very close to town centre in a quietish area of town)

I used this B&B as it was close to the venue of a course I was attending. It is in a very good location for the town and beach. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of coffee and tea.I found the area to be quiet at night and slept well during my stay. There are also shops and takeaways a 5 to 10 minute walks away as well as numerous pubs and restaurants in the city centre, again,a short walk away.

I have stayed at Bimini on several occasions. The owner, Colin, is a sociable and pleasant host. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a lovely dining room where a fist-rate breakfast is served. Bimini is a ten minute walk from Union Street: good location and a thoroughly pleasant place to stay.
