I stayed here for one night having been for a night out in Aberdeen. The location was really good and central but when I was in the hotel, it was quiet and I wouldn't have known there was a busy street outside. The room was very high quality, really nicely decorated with great facilities. There was only a small window... More

I booked this hotel with friends on a weekend. It's doesn't have a great facade, but once inside, it's very glamorous. Reception staff were very friendly. Exec room was great, although looking out on a kebab shop wasn't the best view. However, you can't expect much more in the city centre. Fantastically comfortable beds! Double rooms varied a bit in... I attended in a group of 18 for my friend's surprise 30th Birthday lunch. We had gotten the private dining room which was great as it added to the surprise and we were able to decorate the room. Because there were so many of us we had to pre-order the food which was good as it was all ready to... More

When deciding on accommodation for our family trip to the Granite City, I decided to pay a little more than I normally would after stumbling across a 'boutique hotel' (generous) named The Rox. The hotel seemed nice, and the booking site showed that my 6 month old child could be accommodated within the room we'd chosen. Happy days. Or so... More

Went here for a wedding reception. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great. The food was really nice and really well prepared. My only issue is that the drinks were quite expensive.

Currently writing this email at 0100 am due to being kept awake by wedding party guests in a smoking area one floor beneath our bedroom window. I rang the manager an hour ago and asked why we had paid 125 pounds for this and his reply was that it's a city hotel and I should expect noise in my room.... More

We booked into a standard room as was attending a wedding there and didn't fancy getting a taxi home afterwards. As soon as you enter this hotel it's wow! We'd heard before that they were out the door with afternoon teas etc on the weekends but had no idea it was so nice inside. Rooms are to a high standard... More

Nice motel but no help offered from staff to take suitcases to our rather small room. Comfy bed & nice daily breakfast. Hotel located next to a nightclub but we didn't hear it in our room. I would recommend the hotel for short stays and if you are out all day sightseeing. Parking was a real headache, the car park... More

We booked an executive room back in august for our anniversary for just 1 night. We stayed on the 4th floor. The room was lovely, cosy and clean. The front of the hotel looks a bit dated but we were surprised when we walked in. The interior was very modern. The receptionist was very cheery and helpful. She booked table... More
