Stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip. Great bedroom obviously recently refurbished , good bathroom. Small crowded pub , obviously the "local". Did not try the restaurant other than for breakfast which was good, complete menu and well and quickly served.

Having held my 40th birthday party recently at this hotel, I would highly recommend The Cults Hotel for functions, evening meals and/or overnight stay. The hotel is in a great location on the outskirts of town and therefore convenient for public transport. The hotel service from start to finish was excellent and the function suite ideally situated upstairs with everything... More

I was at a birthday party at Cults Hotel and was really impressed. It's a perfect venue for smaller functions. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The drinks weren't overpriced (as in most big hotels) and the food was amazing, best macaroni and cheese and stovies ever!

We stayed and got married here last year, allot of our guests stayed. Was a perfect venue, lovely food, great service, and the rooms were very nice. Really can't fault this place! The management was great and really helpful, personal but not pretentious like in allot of hotels which have weddings.

Cults hotel is a consistent classic for dinner. It's next door to us so it makes it an easy choice. I always go a la cartel as I find the Sunday carvey unspectacular. I can assure there are many good choices in the menu with good Scottish classics well prepared with fish and chips a must.

We enjoyed a lovely evening meal. Food was fantastic and service was very efficient! Only complaint would be that the main restaurant area was very hot and at times we found ourselves uncomfortable due to the heat. We will book the conservatory going forward.

Went for a special night out .... Food was good but service was lacking . Had to ask twice for our drink order still managed not to bring it all. The wine arrived open and despite saying wanted to try it .. It was poured . The table next to us sent the wine back as not a full bottle... More

My husband and I went this evening for our evening meal I could not fault a thing. The food was amazing. The bar and waiting staff were really nice . It was nice to see the management helping out as it was very busy. I would recommend this place to every one I know.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Lovely place inside. Room was a pleasant size, bed was firm but comfy. Bathroom nice size, shower superb! Room was nicely decorated. Staff really nice and friendly. Bit of a golf theme throughout the place, more so in the lounge bar. Didn't bother me, i like and attempt to play golf. The view from... More

I arrived in the early evening after a long, hot journey up from Exeter, and was allocated Room 2. I couldn't believe my eyes: what a huge room (and there was only me, staying for 4 nights B&B). I immediately felt totally relaxed. A massive bed, 3 pillows wide! A built-in wardrobe with 6 hangers provided, and plenty of suitcase... More
