food not great otherwise its a lovely hotel the staff were friendly and helpful the rooms small but adequate and the place was spotless if the food was better then I would rate it higher. on the food the portions were poor and the quality poor
We stayed for one night. The food was just amazing, a real experience. The restaurant had a pianist which added to a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Our room didn’t have any view but we weren’t in the room much so not a problem
My wife and I spent a long weekend in Aberdeen visiting friends. The Chester hotel offered a great weekend B&B rate. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel itself was clean and staff were friendly. All-in, good value for money.
Lovely hotel. Clean and fairly spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, superb breakfast cooked to order. Very quiet area. It isn’t very central- about 20 mins walk to main attractions or a short bus ride.
Had a celebratory meal here with family in July. The atmosphere is relaxed and well laid out. The staff were helpful and fitted us in earlier than we had planned. The food was enjoyed by all. We also enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Hope to return in the future.
"Lower numbers are nearer to reception and entrance, for room 34 there were three small sets of stairs "
"Didn't like the blanked out window, first time we've ever been in a hotel room without any view."
"Ask for one without steps to the bathroom"
"Pay the extra for the upgrade to the club room. Even for just one night, it’s well worth the premium."
"Never had a room"
