Very good location,large car park,good facilities. Very nice and welcoming staff . Rooms very clean ,but may need some upgrading -very old furniture, no shower rooms,just the shower above the bath tub. Changing room in leisure area needs some upgrading too, lockers should have a key.

Leisure facilities such a disappointment, facilities, repair, cleanliness just so very lacking unfortunately. Upgrade room ok not outstanding though, really not worth additional cost. Mattress not for me, uncomfortable, poor sleep. Noise from other rooms distance, needs better sound proofing. Plumbing issues regarding toilets very off putting for myself and family, needs fixed. Staff friendly, breakfast ok, though self service area felt small and constricted for number if guests. Dinner nice, burgers tasty. Bar not great stocked and lack of gin glasses, could only get 1 for the 2 gins ordered ! Not to standard I expected from this hotel unfortunately, disappointed with our stay.

We recently installed all new Hypnos mattresses with luxury padded toppers, so it disappointing to hear these were not to your liking, but we appreciate mattress comfort is a personal preference. It's heartening to hear that you found our staff friendly and enjoyed the breakfast and dinner offerings, particularly the burgers. Please accept our apologies if there was a shortage of gin glasses, its Christmas party season so the bar is busier than normal, . Excellent overnight stay. In the area as hubby attending a local football match and decided to stay overnight for a break. Wow, wish I had taken photos of the lovely Christmas decorations and the smell throughout the hotel (even the toilets) was amazing. The room was fantastic, everything you could ask for. Clean, comfortable and quiet, despite a wedding ongoing so a few guests later on a bit worse for the wear but not too bad. Dinner was great but top marks reserved for breakfast. Everything on offer and special mention to the best haggis we have had in along time. Would recommend the hotel if in the area travelling.

Ideal location when travelling from south of Aberdeen. Course was in altens so close enough to walk. Free car parking with.plenty space. Friendly welcoming staff when I checked in. For the price was excellent value given the free use of gym and pool/steam room and included breakfast, buffet which had everything expected from fruit to cooked. Even got poached eggs made freshly for me. Think the hotel has been revamped since I stayed last, room was plenty big enough, nice clean crisp sheets in a big bed, nespresso machine was a nice touch for a morning espresso. New restaurant is excellent

I attended a family wedding, I found the hotel clean and comfortable. The food was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional. Overall hotel GOOD. Would use again. Did’nt use amenities, as attending a function.

Ist class. Clean,spacious and friendly. Had a great stay. Would stay again if in the area. Rooms were really clean spacious and welcoming. Food in the Hotel was excellent . Breakfast was self service and well presented. Bar area was well run with friendly staff.. Only point i would make is there were no USB charging point in my room. Plenty in Bar and Food area though.

Choose this hotel due to having a pool. Although we could not get near it as everytime we attempted to use it, it was always at capacity with only one hot tub working. We gave up in the end and would re-consider staying here again.

customer service was shocking, rude arrogant unhelpful only good things was the reception staff and food but service in restaurant ridiculous, heard someone complain and then excuse was new staff yet the manager making the excuses was one of the poor members at our stay- leisure staff more interested in their mobiles never lifted their heads
