Great position for airport, good bar and restaurant is also quite good even if a little expensive.
Quite busy due to locality and breakfast room was crowded even at 5am with lots of off shore workers. Shame they had been allowed to leave all their kit bags blocking the doorways and walkways into restaurant.

Stayed here during lockdown for work reasons.

Staff very friendly and helpful, cleanliness kept throughout hotel.

Only down point was the food, a very limited menu (I know this is due to pandemic restictions) but what you did get was not worth the price you paid.

I stayed a night last week between flights. The hotel is really handy for the airport, its a5 minute walk from the terminal (head towards the Holiday Inn Express then cut through the rental car car park) but they also offer a free transfer.
The price here is often much lower than the HIE and Crowne Plaza yet the hotel is just as convenient.
Check in was quick and the receptionist was really friendly, as were all the staff.
My room, on the first floor, was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was fairly basic but more than adequate for a one night stay.
The bar is small but reasonably priced. Again, the staff were lovely, especially the poor barman who was trying to fend off a very drunk customer who had developed a bit of a soft spot for him!
The bed was comfortable, there was no noise from outside so I slept well.
I left early for a 6am flight so can't comment on the breakfast.
All in all, a great budget option for ABZ.

Our hotel's location is really convenient for the airport, being only 350 metres from the terminal and it is rather an excellent location for travellers to be our guests. Arrived back at Aberdeen airport on Saturday 4th of January and phoned the hotel to arrange for the shuttle bus to take my wife and myself back to the secure car park. When I spoke to someone at the hotel his first response was,what now! Then he said it’s Saturday night and they share the shuttle bus with another hotel but the driver was off work. Although they advertise parking and a shuttle bus don’t expect this hotel to keep their promise as advertised.

Check in at reception was awful. Stood waiting with 8 persons and it took over 10 minutes before a 2nd employee decided to come and help at reception. Lacking all sense of urgency or customer satisfaction. These persons behind the reception desk were not friendly or polite. I was told to send them my booking again in a very abrupt manner when it was finally my turn.
The rooms in this establishment are really dated and look like the last time they got upgraded was in the 1990’s. The bathrooms are tiny, outdated and noisy as well when the fan goes on automatically (being linked to the light). Also the noise in the rooms is terrible. You can hear everyone walking through the corridors.
I was pleasantly surprised with the food though. I have been here many times, because the company always books us in the cheapest hotel possible, and the quality and choice of food was at an all time low during the Corona pandemic. However now, since the bar and restaurant are open again, I think the menu got updated and they must have a new cook or better quality food. The food looked and tasted very good for a change. I hope this will be the new standard at the Leonardo’s from now. If they upgrade/restyle all the rooms and send all employees on a customer friendliness/service course, I do see potential for the Leonardo to become a good hotel. The reception area recently had a nice little makeover, and they should do the same to the restaurant, bar, bathrooms and rooms. With some right investments, the Leonardo could really be the hotel of choice at the Aberdeen airport area.

Few times stayed in those hotel now, hopefully won't ever be back. The photos on site are in no way realistic of what the actual rooms are like, dated bathroom, stained carpets, very uncomfortable bed and curtains with rips and stains in. Which I had to keep closed for the full stay due to the freezing cold draft coming through the window. Got some light snacks on the afternoon, soup and some mac n cheese bites, which I phoned down and collected no problem. These actually tasted quite nice. However when it came to the evening I spent nearly an hour trying to get through to put my dinner order in, in the end I had to go to bar and order. Stood in a cue for ages, really badly understaffed, I told them I wanted it delivering to the room. Upon waiting a while in room I made my way back to the bar to find my plate covered in tin foil sitting on the end of bar. Needless to say it was cold, the steak was burned and presentation was none existent. For the prices you expect a lot more, thankfully my company was paying for it. So went to bed early and hungry.
I appreciate they'd had a lot of offshore workers booked in the hotel, but I think any hotel should always be prepared for there rooms to be full. Rooms need updating and deep cleaned, and the menu and quality of food certainly needs addressing before I would stay there again. Also some of the staff could definitely do with some training on customer service.

Firstly, on entering my room the television automatically came on. No matter how hard i tried using the remote i could not switch it off..It is also unable too switch off as cable went through the wall. This resulted in illuminating my room throughout the night. . £16.50 for a meager quantity and quality for a Fish & Chips meal is totally shocking. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The staff went all out to make our stay comfortable starting from Scott who left a note at reception allowing us check in earlier than the normal checkin time.

They arranged a shuttle bus to the airport as we were leaving extremely early and there was a storm.

Staff are pleasant so I feel sorry writing this bit the place is crap especially the food if you can call it that. Overpriced is an understatement and tbh if there was a Macdonald’s nearby it would beat this place hands down on food quality. £32 for this burger and pizza I mean what the hell.

"Don’t travel via Dyce rail station, as it is a long walk around the airport. Go via Aberdeen rail and catch a bus. It is easy."
