I syed here in a studio with kitchenette in September 2021 while i went to drop my son for his 1st year Uni. The property need some makeover to improve some functional aspect like providing some towel rack in the toilet, well stuffed kitchenette, etc. staffes were excellent and caring. Few eateries and grocery shop is just next to the building. A Tesco Superstore is a 15 min walk. Overall a good value for money, especially for longer stays

User friendly website and booking process with frequent informative emails in respect to upcoming stay.
Although the hotel location was not particularly nice we did get free parking, a premium in Aberdeen, and this was reflected in the very reasonable room price.
Staff were extremely friendly andwelcoming, and the receptionist,Lauren was fantastic with regards to helping with decorations for my pals 60th birthday. We were able to book a well equipped room for 3 adults. Room was very clean, comfortable and with some lovely touches such as complimentary branded freebies such as bottled water, Golden Wonder crisps, Border biscuits, and plenty of tea, coffee, milk and Cadburys hot chocolate.
Beds were clean and comfortable, and plenty fresh towels available .
A small leak behind the bathroom handbasin was attended to within 5 minutes of reporting it, excellent.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and send thanks to the staff for all their hard work .

We booked this last minute to be closer to some friends we were seeing for the night as one of them was staying here too. Is it the most modern and flashy place. No way. Was it an absolute bargain, clean and had a comfortable bed? Definitely!
Free snack hamper in the room as well as tea and coffee along with a couple of bottles of water in the fridge, all complimentary and was a great touch. There was a free continental breakfast included but we never used it.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfy. The only gripe was the behaviour of other guests that night and there had been a large function in the venue that night and the guests were up and down the corridors till the early hours and kept waking us, but that is more to say about them than the hotel.
Would we use it again, definitely for the price they charge, it was a total bargain.

Hogmanay meal was a complete joke Inedible
Main Course: 2 choices both pasta Lasagne or Tagliatelle with packet cheese
Sauce and very congealed both inedible. Other guests ask for something else and they were given this, I saw this and asked for the same. I was then advised by the rude and nasty waitress that all these people ( around 20 )that they had special dietary need.. I checked with them and she had blatantly lied to me. There was also one Scampi dinner left over and when I ask for it she said no .. she was then overhead saying that “ She’s not getting it, take it away “ Dessert: Apple crumble or sticky toffee pudding ... neither came with the custard or ice cream that was on the men So in the end we had nothing to eat and had to purchase Fish Supper outside the hotel. So that was our Special Hogmanay ruined as when returning from the Fireball Festival .. the hotel bar was closed and they would not serve us a drink. Happy New Year to us.
On returning to the hotel at 3pm the bar was closed and they refused to open as the didn’t have the staff. They did say we could drink in our room. We eventually got them to open but they cranked up the air con full blast to freeze us into going to our rooms
Our dinner was supposed to be a Turkey dinner..Turkey Roll Slices I wouldn’t feed to my cat .
Our entertainment that night was a QUIZ and the bar shut at 10:45 pm as they didn’t have staff ... not our problem they are in the hospitality trade and they are a hotel.

Booked this hotel on 29th March as my son was playing in a big rugby competition on Sunday 1st May. Had all my confirmations from booking.com and also from the hotel directly so was happy. So we were out at the rugby on Friday night and had everything organised and ready to leave on sat morning to head up to Aberdeen and luckily I checked my email only to find I had an email saying that my booking was cancelled!!!
So at 9:30pm I phoned hotel to ask why my booking had been cancelled and told the lady we were all ready to leave in the morning to head up to Aberdeen…. I was told that booking.com had sold too many rooms and that the hotel only gives them 45 rooms and they book 46!! And they told my this always happens and basically they were fully booked and there was nothing they could do… !! Not happy with the lady I spoke to she went and got the “manager” who started blabbing on about the same thing, then she said they only have a certain amount of family rooms and they had a problem with one of them and these had no other rooms to offer me! So I said to them so it is your fault the booking has been cancelled because you don’t actually have a room to offer me not booking.coms? She started speaking to me like I was stupid and I got so angry I ended up hanging up the phone..!! I’m disgusted with the way this hotel tried to blame someone else’s for their mistakes 😠 luckily I phoned booking.com and spoke to a lovely lady who after a few different hotel choices managed to get us a lovely hotel called Hampton by Hilton which was beautiful Hotel near the airport. Booking.com also paid the slight difference in money from my booking with this hotel and it was well worth it as it was so much nicer.
So if you book this hotel be very careful they don’t do the same to you as they did to my family and I.

We stayed in this hotel two year ago and it was lovely so decided to go back for four day, but unfortunately I had got cut it short. I have never stayed in a dirty hotel in all my life the room and bathroom was dirty and has not been cleaned. Then when we checked in we got told there no cooked breakfast you would get a bag with a bottle off water and warm water n apple. And in the room there was no milk or anything in the basket. Put it this way if it was in four in a bed program it would not win. If I had know that when we booked the hotel about the food and no kitchen I would off gone. After driving 8 hours all we wanted was a cup off coffee and something to eat and we could not get that we had to go out and get something. I have never felt so dirty in myself.

My wife and I were booked to stay for 2 nights bed and (continental) breakfast. Contrary to previous reviews I found the room and adjoining bathroom were spotless but my biggest issue was the traffic noise from the A944 dual carriageway which runs past the front of the hotel. This road is one of the busiest in Aberdeen and it’s pretty constant. Even with the double glazing you can still hear the noise.
With the window closed it meant the room temperature rose significantly resulting in bedding being discarded. It is also under the flight path to the airport so aircraft can be heard from around 6am. We had our continental breakfast which was excellent but decided we couldn’t bear another night of torture so we cancelled the second night. There are far better and quieter places in Aberdeen to stay.

After a 14 hour drive to this place we were put into a room we didn't book as they give the room we reserved to another couple, being tired we thought we could sort it next morning. Outside the room roadworks continued until 3am so no sleep, speaking to lady on main reception telling her this was our honeymoon she informed us to move rooms was gonna cost another£70 plus the breakfast which we also paid for was just an apple and yoghurt.
The staff was not going to help our situation or even comprise. Their carpark is used by local shoppers and delivery vehicles so not even that is safe. This is the Worse hotel I've been in and will NEVER use it again.
Would give a zero star but won't allow.

The cleaning standards are an absolute disgrace. The kitchenette had food spills everywhere, dirty dishes in cupboard, microwave filthy and no turntable so unusable. Fridge full of brown mouldy ice and absolutely filthy. Smoke alarms covered with shopping bags. Cigarette ash all over windows. Windows broken and don't close, and have seen from previous reviews that this has been the case in this room for actual years. Ceiling and door frame badly damaged by damp which they have tried to disguise with paint. And they couldn't even be bothered to cover the furniture while painting as there is paint splatters over everything.
Honestly the worse hotel I have ever been in. As a housekeeper myself, I do hold my rooms to quite a high standard, but this took the absolute pi**! Should be closed down. DISGRACE!
I was booked in for 4 nights, I stayed 1.

This hotel exterior let's it down , it's very dated and dowdie , where as the inside is clean , warm and welcoming. All the staff we came I contact with were very friendly and helpful and the welcome basket in the room was a lovely touch. Transport links to both the hospitals and the city are reliable and regular. There are also a couple of shops close by in a small precicinct and the supermarket is within easy walking distance. Xs

My "kitchenette" comprised a small kettle and a very small fridge. No cooking facilities, just two different sized cups and some tea/coffee sachets, biscuits, crisps and 2 bottles of water.
