Work required me to travel to Peterhead so booked the Buchan Braes on a recommendation. Would definitely return - the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food from the grill room, eaten as room service, was lovely. And the rooms are decorated very tastefully. A pleasant surprise!

I was here for one night on business and it was a great stay. The welcome was very good and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The bar supper and breakfast were both excellent with good quality ingredients and great service.

Definitely the best hotel in the area. Stayed here on 4 occasions and never been disapointed...Great staff Lovely warm rooms, good menu options for evening meals...breakfast provides a multitude of options..I'm just not sure whether the white gloves are necessary...

went for a Sunday lunch to catch up with a good friend. The service was exemplary, the menu however was a bit challenging - does anyone still eat seafood cocktails and melon fan?? When the food arrived, however, it could not be faulted on taste, quality or presentation. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience - will be back...

Good rooms good food and very nice surroundings. Handy stop over just outside Peterhead. Only thing I would say is its a busy hotel with a variety of business people and contractors so can be a wee bit noisy. Staff are very attentive. Very nice stay.

Extremely satisfied with the quality of food in this establishment... and very comfortable surroundings... We would like to pass an opinion of the lighting in the restaurant though... Softer lighting would be desirable

Rooms are warm and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar meals are nice. The grill dining room menu wasn't to my taste and I think a tad expensive but bar staff were great. Couple of issues with my room were fixed straightaway. My only gripe is the water was only lukewarm when I wanted a bath.

A have stayed here many times while on business, this in my opinion is the best hotel in the area. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a high standard, clean and very comfortable, the showers are also very powerful not something you get very often, the free wi-fi is also fast, the food is...

We walked all around Boddam, but sadly none of the 3 hostelries including the Buchan Braes is dog friendly. We visited mid week in Early November. The hotel had 2 staff on the reception desk and nobody else in the public areas. Nice large bar but sadly no room for a well behaved poodle who is better behaved than most...
