Stayed there overnight in May 2013. This is a fantastic place with a personal touch and superb memorable service. Accommodation is pristine and extremely comfy! Breakfast is amazing and they even provided my lactose free milk for me! Highly recommended!

My son, Cameron, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with June and Phil. After setting their ' longest stay record' of thirteen days, it was very, very hard to leave the guest house. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay; the warm hospitality, the touring knowledge of the area by Phil, and the combined cooking efforts from both June and Phil were acceptional. This lodging location is a golfer's paradise overlooking the 18th fairway of the Carnoustie Championship course, and in full view of the world's most difficult hole in the world, the Par 3 16th, The Barry Burn. For those who love music and the pipe organ, everyday you can listen to the wind create beautiful, melodic Fence Post Pipe Organ Music. The Scotts taught me more than I can ever imagine- to love and laugh often. I highly recommend a visit; I will be back.

Phil and June are probably one of the most approachable hosts I've come across. Their homely B&B is ideally located for those with a golfing passion, being situated right on the 18th fairway at Carnoustie.

On entry, the whole B&B exudes warmth, comfort and cleanliness. The rooms are beautifully equipped, and the beds in particular are extremely comfortable. As one would expect, breakfast is substantial and satisfying.

If you ever need accommodation in Carnoustie - don't look anywhere else!

Our family in the USA had recommended Linksview as had previously stayed when visiting Carnoustie and it was as great as they had told us. Nothing is too much trouble for Phil and June and they have thought of everything for golfers such as room for clubs and wet shoes at the end of a long day on the famous links courses
A great view across the 18th from the house but Room 1 has a view to die for (on a dry day!!)-could have sat there all day.
The house has only been recently refurbished to a high standard with great showers and large bottles of toiletries which we had never been given before and so much nicer than the small bottles usually offered.
We all enjoyed excellent breakfasts as good as any luxury hotel we have stayed in - and enough to keep a golfer happy for the rest of the day.
We were not golfing but visiting family and touring so can say without doubt that this a great place to stay for non golfers also with great walks across the course to the sea as well as all the local tourist spots- we look forward to returning.

Linksview Guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and a very friendly welcome. Breakfasts are cooked to order and there is a good choice also of cereals, fresh fruit, and yogurts. The owners are very pleasant people who obviously enjoy what they do. If you are a golfer this would be an ideal location with the links across the road. There is street parking and a free carpark is also available. Our room had an enormous bed which was very comfortable and the ensuite was first class.

Cozy place with good atmosphere. Phil and June took care of four golfers for four nights. Personal service and great helpfulness, when we needed more golf tours and transport around, they fix! We stood up for brilliant breakfast all days during our stay. We can truly recommend the place as a base for a tour in the area's fantastic golf courses

Four of us were playing golf at Carnoustie and one of our group had chosen this guest house for a 2 night stay. What a lovely place. It is a very quiet location. We had a very enjoyable stay here. I could not fault it for the rooms were superb in comfort and cleanliness. There was a plentiful breakfast provided. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There is abundant parking opposite and for golfers it is a very short walk to the course. It is ideal if you are playing Carnoustie.

Can we rent golf clubs?

It will vary from course to course so suggest you check before booking or might be better just to bring your own. Long haul carriers are now pretty good when it comes to transporting clubs
