Staff excellent at check in and shown to a large comfortable room to front of building. A good nights sleep was...

This is now the 2nd time we have been for lunch at the Chapelbank and the standard is superb and the service equally so. On each occasion we have opted for the two courses for £9:95 , presentation and quality excellent and the desserts are to die for. Best in Forfar by a mile.

Not been in for a while so delighted to find the standard is still as good. Not a big menu but it has enough variety for most tastes. The brie and cranbery starter was extremely good and the haddock was very fresh and nicely cooked. Smaller portions would be good though The indulgence deserts are a great idea and a...

Very Pleasant, helpful staff, room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Meals were excellent and well presented. Also menu can cater for anyone with a diet restriction, (eg: Gluten Free) but do inform the Hotel when you book if possible.

I stayed in the Chapelbank Hotel during January and can only give high praise. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfasts are superb, with a good choice of quality local products, and always served with a smile. The hotel also has a Bistro restaurant and bar, open all day serving quality food and ok coffee.

Was booked in here by my company for one night, was a tad worried as I am normally booked in to chains, not that i book these when i go on holiday, but on business they are "safe" bets, also the fact it used the phrase "boutique hotel" mmakes you think small room etc. Well im glad to report that...
