Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Farmer Lou took us on a lovely wander round the farm, we got to see lots of different animals, she told us loads of interesting fun facts about the animals and we even got to feed the lambs ourselves and have a cuddle - a lovely day out, would highly recommend!

@NewtonFarmHolidays We went to the lambing experience. Would highly recommend it. Farmer Lou was excellent and so informative. We were lucky enough to see a sheep give birth to twins. It was a wonderful experience. Plus feeding the lambs. Absolutely loved it.

My family attended the afternoon feeding frenzy and had a brilliant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and feeding all the different animals. We got snuggles with some lambs and bottle fed them which we all absolutely loved. We hadn’t even left and my kids were asking when we could come back, they enjoyed it so much!!

We had a lovely visit to Newton Farm and learning about the animals and farm life. My grandson loved bottle feeding the lamb. There were so many calves and lambs to see as well as Alpacas and goats some with cheeky characters. Great experience for young and old and a visit to remember. Staff were lovely too.

This was the most wholesome fun activity I’ve done in ages! Lots of information and fun conversations and the animals were adorable. Very tempted to steal a lamb but fought the urge! Highly recommend! We went without children but fine for everyone

This is the most hospitable B&B I’ve ever stayed in. You’re the only guests so it’s a very personal experience. We were hoping our son would get to experience the farm a bit, but he actually got full immersion and everyone was brilliant with him. Lovely homely room with everything you need and tasty breakfast.

Fantastic ‘Feeding Frenzy’ tour around the farm. Lots of fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable & made sure everyone got lots of hands on experience with the animals. The lambs were our favourite. Everyone in our group were adults, so definitely not just for children! Would highly recommend.

The best experience ever. My daughter can be a little timid but she was put at ease so quickly and loved the entire feeding experience. Its a great day out at a working farm and fantastic to allow children to see how animals are looked after and get involved with the feeding. I highly recommend this as a day out or just an afternoon. You will not be disappointed. Made my whole weekend. The staff really care for and know the animals so well. You can tell they love their job.

Thanks for your review! I am delighted Rhiannon made your daughter feel at ease and able to feel confident to get involved in the feeding frenzy. We love making our vistors feel part of the farming family and I am so happy that you enjoyed it too. Our experiences are as much for the adults as the children
