Nice lodging, very central, £30 B&B. Huge Scottish breakfast. Landlady really nice. If you enjoy live music the George Hotel is almost next door. Second time staying there.

Norina is a lovely landlady and really goes out of her way to add a personal touch to your stay at her B&B. The breakfast is particularly good and strongly recommended. I had a pleasant, quiet stay here and no problem getting a good night's sleep. The decor and fittings are somewhat tired, If I'm being honest, so don't expect...

Stayed here for two nights 24th & 25th April B&B. Large clean room with en suite, and Very homely and very reasonably priced. The landlady Norina was very nice and friendly. Also you are central to all ameneties. The breakfast is just what you would expect a good hearty scottish breakfast. If I visit inveraray again the Bank house would...

Stayed one night last minute. We stayed here as the remainder of the bnbs were full. On entry to the property there was a real stale smell of cigarettes. Our room was a good size with an ensuite. The decor is dated but i don't mind this as we all know that cleanliness is the most important thing. Our room's...

Stayed here on a LEJOG cycling trip. Very warm welcome from the hostess and bikes stored safely. Twin room was comfortable and clean but en-suite bathroom was very cramped and needed a good hoovering in the corners. Breakfast was very generous with a wide variety of food on offer - perfect for hungry cyclists. The hostess was very friendly and...

Don't have room 2, loo and shower room is on the landing outside. Loo didn't flush and shower mouldy. Lovely big double room. Bed very comfortable. Quiet room. Won't stay here again in room 2 but maybe in one of the ensuites. Owner Norina is lovely but doesn't keep well and it seems too much for her.

Norina C, Owner at The Bank House, responded to this review

The guests who stayed were shown an ensuite room and the room with the PRIVATE bathroom adjoining the room. both on the first floor. They were told the price of each room and I explained that the fact that the house was "A" listed meant I could not get permission of knock through to make Room 2 en suite -...

Stayed at this B&B for one night. Location couldn't be better. The historic house is right in the middle of this small town. Our room was a twin bedroom with bathroom in the corridor. It was a bit worn but okay for one night. TV with plenty of channels. The B&B also had refurbished en suite rooms. Very nice owner...

We were in need of a stay in Inveraray and this was the only place left, I can understand why... Room was ok, but why have an anonymouse couples wedding photos on a table next to old plastic flowers? House was not that clean and the shower was horrid, we would not use it, breakfast was not good and we...

What a gem! We arrived around 6:30 pm and were famished. The George Hotel was recommended and only 30 something steps away. As promised the food was exceptional + a live band!. With only a few steps to stagger back we had a pure dead brilliant evening with a personal main door key. You must like cats, I do by...
