Unfortunately due to Covid Josephine wasn't doing breakfast this was a bit gutting having to go out to eat !! But fully understandable
Room Note ....the 2 rooms at the top of the house are attic rooms and you will bang your head on the sloping ceiling in both the bedroom and the bathroom at some point if you are tall .
Still a great place to stay .

The host was very welcoming, warm comfortable feel to the place. Helpful with places to go in Oban. Relaxed feel, left to enjoy your stay.
Everything is pretty much a short walk from the guest house. Parking outside the guest house is pay and display however there is limited guest parking at the rear of the property.
Room and bathroom was spotless. There was also a fridge in the room. Decent hair dryer.
Price for one night was well worth the money, for a clean and comfortable stay.

We had a lovey stay at Sandvilla. The rooms were beautiful and clean, lots of electrical outlets, nice shower room with complementary toiletries. The bed was comfortable and offered two types of pillow. We both slept very well. The owner was friendly and discreet, and was available when needed. There was free parking to the rear of the property. While the cars were double parked we were never inconvenienced by it.
Sandvilla is situated on a side road just before the high street. All the attractions, shops, restaurants etc are within a few minutes stroll, but far enough away to avoid any traffic or pedestrian noise.
Highly recommended. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

Myself Fiona and Peter checked in 19th July checked out 21st July we had room 1. I can say that this accommodation was perfect, room was spotless bed was so comfortable, hosts were friendly and very accommodating lovely couple, close to all the beautiful sites of Oban. I will be recommending to my friends & family and will definitely book again. Faultless. 👍

Lovely establishment located near the town centre. Pristine clean, very quiet, comfortable beds, parking available on the street (free from 6pm to 9 am.) A few good places available in town from 8 am for breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.

Josephine is the most wonderful host, and made our stay in Oban, a special one. The guest house is in a prime location and an easy walk into town. Josephine, was always friendly, and could not do enough for us.
The guest house is spotless, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Due to Covid, we did not have breakfast, but I am sure if we had, it would have been of a high standard.

I stayed on my journey to the Western Isles and this is a real find. The entrance, hallway and room was spotless. I received an incredible warm welcome and a fond farewell when leaving. Call ahead if you need parking or book while making the accommodation booking.

Just back from a weekend staying at Sanvilla. Warm welcome and lovely wee single at the top of the house. Noticed bedding was feather and am allergic to feathers. I should have said on booking but it’s rare to have feather bedding these days and I forgot. I mentioned it before going out for dinner and everything was changed for my return. Sorry Josephine, but appreciated. Nice shower-room with a proper cabinet to store toiletries . Small fridge in room was a bonus. Everything was clean and welcoming. Central location without hill climbing is perfect!
