Firstly spoke to guest house directly for a room, she wanted £95 cash, went onto booking.com and got the same room for £85. We had the twin room with garden view, it was tiny, two beds, chest of drawers, one bedside table and an ensuite for one person at a time and all old fashioned. There was tea and coffee and two packs of biscuits and a brown bag with breakfast in it. ( two pots of prepacked porridge - add boiling water, two small juice boxes, two apples, two breakfast bars and two small packs of prepacked cheese). Both cheeses were soft and sweaty, and should have been in a fridge, goodness how long they had been there, this contravenes food hygiene regulations. One of the breakfast bars must have been part of a multipack and had no ingredient or nutritional values on it, again in contravention food hygiene regs, the 200ml juice boxes , orange had 18g of sugar and the apple 20g !!! . So all in all a disgusting offering for breakfast. The only thing edible were the apples. The host should be ashamed offering this type of food. It’s basically how little work can I get away with and still rake in the money. This place is bed only forget the “breakfast”. There was a small room down stairs with a table and a fridge with more of the same, not even organised, products still in wrapping and cardboard trays, a basket of small oranges and more tea and coffee, but you are meant to eat in your room on your bed as this is where the kettle was. Other than that the room was clean but one bed was really hard.

A very pleasant stay overnight. Hosts very helpful, facilitated safe bike store overnight. Room very clean, nicely appointed. Tea , coffee facilities. Plenty towels. Parking in public car opposite worked well. No breakfast, but not an issue as plenty of local options and generous goodie bag in room.

Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with attention to detail that made for a very enjoyable stay. We stayed two nights; either side of our Island holiday. Both rooms we stayed in were beautifully decorated with lots of lovely artwork. The rooms were well equipped and we loved the little extras like the hot water bottle, eye mask, ear plugs and even a pack of playing cards. The house is well situated for the town centre, restaurants and the ferry port. We thoroughly enjoyed both our stays and would love to return for another stay.

A fabulous find. Very convenient location and spotlessly clean. Made to feel very welcome and homely touches in the room. Cooked breakfast can be pre-ordered at a nearby hotel, but the continental breakfast bag in room was perfectly adequate. Can highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in Edna’s lovely Dana Villa and are delighted to recommend! From booking, to arrival we had lovely helpful communication. We stayed in the Deluxe Room (No.7), which really was delightful. Everything was very tasteful and so much thought had gone into everything for us as guests. We just couldn’t have wanted more. The room was compact but didn’t feel small or cramped. The bed was beautiful and very comfortable. Towels and complimentary toiletries were lovely too 😊 The room is set at the rear of the property but has a lovely outlook, and what’s more; is SO quiet and peaceful! We had 8 hours wonderful sleep! We thought we might have been disturbed by the usual Seagulls, but we never heard any! The Complimentary breakfast was an amazing much appreciated surprise! Thanks Edna for everything! We’ll definitely back the next time we come your way. Ooooh! and we can recommend Spice World - the Bangladeshi Restaurant just a short walk away, for a lovey supper! 👍

A very lovely place, convenient, every need thought of. Beautifully appointed. Stayed only one night but would have liked more. There is a generous continental style breakfast in the room, not cooked.

So comfortable and clean. Lovely lady there to greet us who was very knowledgeable about the town. Complimentary breakfast delivered daily, fruit, juice, biscuits and porridge. If ever we travel to Oban again, we would definitely make a return visit.

We stayed for 3 nights in the King Room. The location was perfect on the flat and quiet. Our room had everything and more including an automatic low level light in the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the decor fresh and welcoming as were the hosts. The breakfast bag offered flexibilty so one day we were early for the 3 islands tour, and another day we had a welcome lie in. We would definately recommend and hope to stay again

We stayed only one night, but I like to go back. The room was large, very cosy and very clean. Comfy bed with very nice soft bedding and comfy pillows. Good location very close to the harbour, pubs, restaurants. My room was facing the street, but it was still quiet with double glazing.
