We have comfy, spacious dormitories as well as family-friendly private rooms (some with ensuite), all with access to a very well eqiupped self-catering kitchen. Our prices include all bedding, a continental breakfast and free internet. We have a huge, fantastic lounge and socialising area with a pool table, board games, books, and all-day free tea/coffee and hot chocolate... Every creature comfort for the budget-minded traveller! Being rather aged I was unsure about this, although it came highly recommended. In the evnt I had a splendid comfortable en suite room, well up to the standard of a 3 star hotel - but considerably cheaper. Tony B

Lovely room for a great price. Very well heated, and very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. We needed a place to leave our bags after we checked out and the staff helped out. Enjoyed our stay, no complaints!

I booked an en suite room and it was perfect, just what I needed. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Free breakfast of cereals or toast each day. Comfortable beds, warm room and lovely shower in my en suite. I had an uncomfortable bed in room 5 on my first night but I was moved the next morning with no issues at all. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to town and everything in walking distance

Room Tip: Parking isn't free. Farm foods opposite. Tesco is about 10 minute walk.

I was a wee bit nervous about staying here, despite the good reviews, as I’ve never stayed in a hostel before. It was superb and better than many a hotel or B&B. I’d a private en-suite room which was super spotless with a very comfortable bed. Complimentary tea/coffee was also provided. I didn’t use the catering facilities in the main building. Ideally located, close to the centre but not so close that you’ve a lot of noise from people passing. In the annex, I didn’t hear a soul. Wonderful stay, very comfortable and highly recommend. Many thanks.

Comfortable place to stay before moving onto the Outer Hebrides. Room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. It was in a good location just a short walk away from the piers. Tea and coffee facilities were provided but the kettle didn’t work. The letter on arrival also suggested discounts with the yellow hostel card however after eating at the restaurant they no longer offer those discounts which was a bit awkward! Might be worth updated the check in letter! Would stay again and really loved Oban!
