I enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing stay in the 'Campbell Room' of this charming guest house. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Chris and Joanne, who were very welcoming. Chris' cooked breakfast was also delicious. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Oban!

We stayed here for a couple of nights in September 2016, must be the best B&B in Highland Scotland. The gentleman who welcomed us in his kilt etc, must be one of the proudest Scotsman I've ever met, and the lady there is just so nice. We had an evening meal on one night and the home cooking was fabulous,... More

We had a lovely 1 night stay at Briarbank B & B. Chris and his wife were good hosts, affording a lovely welcome and plenty of useful information about Oban. We had a front-facing room with en suite facilities. Our breakfast was excellent and it was an easy 5-6 minute walk on to the seafront and town centre. Also, a... More

My friend and I stayed here and had a wonderful time at the guest house and in Oban. Just a five minute walk into town, it was handy for everything. Chris and his wife were excellent hosts-very friendly and could recommend what to do and what to visit during our time in Oban. He even offered to carry our bags... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of being hosted by Chris the end of August, 2016. The location was fantastic, the facilities were beyond comfy and the host was a gracious and a most helpful guy, who we enjoyed getting to know. We had a great time visiting Oban, in part to having the chance to stay at Briarbank... More

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Briarbank B&B. The new owners are lovely and so welcoming and we felt at home straight away. Chris was younger than we expected however his hosting skills (especially the scrambled egg) gave the impression he has been doing this for years. Wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend this... More

I stayed here for one night prior to travelling to the Isle of Mull, I had told Chris that I was likely to be in Oban around 2 pm and he arranged a earlier check in for me. Parking is just across the road which is great as parking in Oban is difficult. Chris saw me arrive and came down... More

Lovely place to stay and a friendly warm welcome from the owners. Comfy bed and good facilities. The breakfast was superb with quality ingredients. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg was one of the best I have had. Fast wifi and good location for the town centre and ferry to Mull.

We stayed for two nights and it was a great stay. The room was nice and comfortable and breakfast was tasty. The owners were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful and really made the difference. The free guest parking and close location to the town was perfect for us. The only thing I can fault is that my shower went... More

This is a very good B&B. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make it stand out from the crowd. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were just very good with everything we could need. plus a little extra. Breakfast was excellent. Off-road parking is a real bonus as Oban is not the easiest place to... More
