It has been 6 months since our trip to Scotland, and I am very remiss in leaving this review of Greystones. However, as we all know, memories tend to fade as time goes by, but the most memorable ones remain. And so it is with Greystones. During our 3 weeks in Scotland, we stayed at 6 different B&B's. Although the others were lovely, this one was, without a doubt, our favorite. As was the city of Oban. Our room, the hosts (Archie & Mo), the views, were all exceptional. So much so, that we plan on returning at some point in time and couldn't think of staying anywhere else. And thank you, Mo, for your help in planning places to see and things to do while we were in Oban. You are a delight, and I felt I could sit down with you and have a wonderful conversation over a cup of tea!

Beautiful guesthouse! Archie and Mo are wonderful hosts who made us feel so comfortable. We stayed in one the Sea View King Suites and it did not disappoint. It was so nice to take time to sit and look out to the bay. Our room had all the amenities anyone would need. This home has so much history and it was a great place to celebrate a birthday - taking time to relax and enjoy the beauty. The bathroom was very large and comes with a story - just ask Archie/Mo about it. So nice to have heated towel racks. The breakfast was amazing and custom made. The freshly made muffins were a nice touch. Definitely did not leave feeling hungry. Mo provided us with so much info and recommendations - the drive we had to see the Harry Coo's was great, the Green Shack for lunch, and dinner options were all great. Located on a hillside overlooking Oban harbor, Greystones was an excellent choice for our stay in Oban. We opted for one of the sea view rooms and did not regret it. Sitting in the bay window as the sun set, watching the lights on the navigation aids in the harbor with a dram of whisky was magical. The room was furnished comfortably with clean lines, excellent ensuite bath and was very quiet. It is an easy, albeit steep 3 minute walk down into town. The breakfasts were among the best we experienced during our stay in Scotland. Be sure to ask about the interesting history of the inn.

Lovely spot. Lovely inn. Lovely hosts. Lovely town. My wife and I enjoyed 2 nights at Greystones after dropping our daughter at school. Hosts were wonderful, with lots of great recos for local flavor. Accommodations, very comfortable. Breakfast especially delicious. We will be back!

On arrival we had a very warm and friendly reception. The bedroom was very light and spacious with an excellent view across the bay. The breakfast menu was extensive with something for everyone. The food was very tasty and well presented. There were even homemade treats for during the day. Archie and Mo couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was most enjoyable.

Beautiful house with well designed rooms and a nice bathroom. We enjoyed the harbour view and the excellent location close to the city centre. The breakfast was outstanding and Mo and Archie very gracious hosts- also thanks a lot for the help with the laundry!! The night-cup offering and brownies upon arrival are a very nice touch and those details made our stay even more memorable- highly recommended for travellers who are looking for an amazing experience!

This is the best of the best in terms of bed and breakfast spots I've ever been to. The owners are warm and kind and have good knowledge of local what's about town Elegant and tasteful decor. If you are coming to Oban for any length of time this is the place to be. Spectacular views of the sound.

This was, by far, the nicest and poshest place that we stayed at during our trip to Scotland. Truly spectacular. The room (though set in a Victorian home) was modern and clean and huge, with a spectacular view of the Oban Harbor. The included breakfast was delicious and served in a sunny room with a lovely view of the harbor. We even received homemade treats for afternoon tea. The hosts were extremely nice and they even packed us up a small treat for our trip to the nearby islands.

We had the opportunity to visit Oban and stay at Greystones and we were not disappointed. Archie and Mo were great hosts before, during and after our stay. The B&B was super clean and comfortable and has amazing views overlooking Oban. It was a perfect place to stay while visiting the city. Breakfast was delish and made to order and we also enjoyed the small bar for our late night last call. We would definitely stay next time in Oban.
