Our last day in lovey Scotland and our last b&b, we decided to got to Oban, we booked the elderslie guest and to be honest we were a little sad that it was our last day in Scotland, we drove through oban, (most beautiful town) and came to the elderslie guest house,we thought beforehand nothing could really top what we have experienced in Inverness and Fort William for B&B's, but when we got there wow!!!!!. The most pristine guest house I have ever!!! been in, and I mean pristine!!.The host's husband and wife team are on top of their game, the rooms are spacious and cleannn! The dinning are beautifully laid out and so clean, honestly you could eat off the floors. My bathroom I was almost afraid to use it, it looked like it was just fitted infact the whole house was like that, so fresh so clean and oh so appreciated, it was the final icing on the cake for a most amazing holiday in Scotland. To the owners of elderslie guest house thank you for your most engaging hospitality an absolute 10/10.folks this is the place to stay if you visit Oban X

We stayed two nights at Elderslie Guest House. From the minute we arrived, Lorna was friendly, helpful and efficient. She gave us bus timetable for bus into town (which takes about five minutes) and advised us on times etc. The house is set in a quiet location with lots of nice trees and flowers surrounding it. The bus stop is two minutes away, great little bus! Breakfast is pre ordered. We had lovely cooked Scottish Breakfast and the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon is delicious! Comfortable beds, lots of nice touches like sweeties, bottle of water, free toiletries in room. When we were leaving, Lorna very kindly offered to bring our cases into town later in afternoon which allowed us to have a wander around high street for the morning without having to carry luggage around! If we return to Oban, we will definitely stay here again!

Thank you ladies for your great review, we were so glad you all enjoyed your stay with us. No problem with the cases as we know the left luggage at the station fills up very quickly and it allowed you all 2 free hands to shop!!

We stayed with our 3 university age daughters for several days and were delighted with the beautifully decorated rooms [lovely fabrics, cut crystal, fresh flowers], wonderful breakfast [expertly cooked to order, piping hot and accompanied by the most sumptuous fresh fruit salad] and the thoughtful ‘extras’ [two bed sheets and washcloths for those visiting from across the pond!]. Patrick and Lorna were the most welcoming and accommodating hosts, answering questions, offering suggestions and providing engaging conversation. Unfazed by our several special requests, it was obvious they were committed to making their guests’ stay as enjoyable as possible - and it was! We’ve stayed several places in Oban on previous trips, but this is by far our favorite!

I stayed at Elderslie Guest House for 3 nights in June 2019. Great location, just about 25-30 minute walk from Oban town centre. The hosts (Lorna & Patrick) were extremely friendly and provided helpful information on local sights & activities. The cooked breakfast was delicious!
