This was my 3rd stay at this B&B and I can't rate it highly enough. Attention to detail is great, always helpful and couldn't do enough to make us welcome. Such a peaceful place with a warm atmosphere.

The Hassendean B&B is the perfect country retreat, quiet with beautiful scenery. The rooms are immaculately clean with lots of lovely wee extras including toiletries which make you feel really at home. Janet went above and beyond with her help, and couldn't have been kinder. We loved staying here and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thankyou so much for making our stay perfect- I didn't want to leave!

We stayed only one night on our way home from the Highlands, but would happily return. The owner is lovely, very friendly. We had a beautiful room with big bathroom and balcony, and a very good breakfast. The countryside around is lovely.

We stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights and were very pleased with it. The room was excellent as was the en-suite bathroom. My only criticism is that WiFi reception upstairs (where our room was) was poor, but I have discussed this with the lady of the house and by the time you visit things may well have improved. The landlady was very friendly and helpful and offered much-appreciated advice on local amenities. Highly recommended!

Everything from start to finish was excellent, from the friendly welcome when we arrived to the lovely en-suite room and brilliant breakfast, thank you. Would definitely stay again. We walked into Denholm (2 miles - a nice pleasant walk) for a meal and a drink or two and then a taxi back. All in all a nice relaxing stay.

Stopped here after a long days ride and were instantly welcomed and Looked after so well, the room we stayed in was cosy and spacious. We were lucky enough to be recommended a lovely country pub for our evening meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We had the best breakfast either of us ever had on our tour and were sent on our way content and ready for the day. I recommend this cosy little b&b to all bikers and tourers, Our stay here made our trip to Scotland that little bit better, we will definitely stay again when we return.

A very friendly welcome and the room we were in was stunning with a balcony and spacious bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and extra blankets provided which was excellent as it was cold outside. Breakfast was also very good and I really enjoyed the nice cereals on offer to start with. The cooked food was also spot on. We will be back!

Hassendean is a comfortable B&B in the area of Hawick. The rooms have all the comforts you need and the hostess is very nice and serves a lovely breakfast. She also introduced us to a great pub/restaurant nearby. We enjoyed our stay and if in the area would surely stay here gladly again

Lovely B&B in a peaceful rural location... Less than 10 mins from Hawick town. Clean well presented rooms. Bathroom clean and fresh. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Owners pleasant and informative but not toooo " in your face"... It's a fine line for B&B owners but they have got it right

This has been our second stay within a year and for very god reason. Not only is the B&B run to a very high standard, it is relaxing and so welcoming. Forget your big fancy hotels - for 5 star accommodation and service, then look no further than this B & B. Safe to say we will be back again,
