Not enough words can say how fantastic this place is. We were very much made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. Jeremy showed us to our room. The room and ensuite were beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed in Glentress. Our seven course taster menu and matching wines were superb. We loved how it was explained how...

Stayed for two nights this week, dinner, bed and breakfast. Back we came again for our fourth stay in the last three years. What can I say- it just gets better. Our dog loves it too yand it is very dog-friendly. We stayed in Jedburgh and the room as ever was warm, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The staff are...

Another winter visit but we really must go in the late Spring or Summer to enjoy the outdoor spaces more. The hotel and staff are very good and our room was lovely. It is a pity that the log fires were not lit in the lounge and the dining room because they give warmth and atmosphere to these big rooms....

We stayed a night here after Christmas, the hotel is set in beautiful expansive grounds, with amazing views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My husband was still on a wheelchair when we visited. The accessible Junior Suite is big enough for wheelchair, shower and toilet completely accessible with ease. The only slight issue is getting the wheelchair into...

Stayed here on Friday with two friends.....and what a great find it was!! A beautiful country house set in extensive grounds, staffed by a great set of people. The lounge areas were very comfortable and there was plenty of seats. We dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent. And....the icing on the cake....a great selection of malt whisky....

From the moment you arrive, to the moment you reluctantly leave, Cringletie serves all the charm and service you would expect from a Country House Hotel. Having stayed on a number of occasions, the latest Feb 2017, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stays in a range of the rooms available. All have been very clean and comfortable. The staff have...

We stayed on a Sunday and experienced the exceptional Sunday taster menu. 7 courses with wine pairing. The menu was everything I would have picked and the wine pairing was terrific with a very entertaining and knowledgable sommelier. The hotel is luxurious yet comfortable with beautiful surroundings.

Admittedly we were on an offer which involved a taster dinner which was superb with introductions to each wine and food to die for. The service simply could not have been better either with well trained staff taking a real interest in ensuring that guests were more than happy with the service. Our room was outstanding in every way....a lovely...

We stayed here on a voucher deal which included a tasting menu with wines which I've reviewed separately. We were welcomed at the door and I can't think when this last happened to me. I had forgotten to print the voucher but that was quickly sorted out. I am disabled but u can walk up a few stairs and our...
