Upon arrival I was greeted and shown to my room, the room was comfortable but a bit outdated. The facilities in the room were good with an on-suite and tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was a little tricky to use as the shower head was not adjustable meaning I had to stand at a very awkward angle to...

Love this pub. Food is superb and great value for money. Always made to feel very welcome and staff super friendly. Kids are welcome and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Great drink selection too especially the gin menu! Been numerous times now and not had a bad meal yet. Menus are different every time we visit. Keep up...

I visited the Cross Keys in Ettrickbridge last weekend, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Portions were very generous and service and food quality were faultless. Excellent fresh Eyemouth fish served with lovely homemade chunky chips. Staff were attentive and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. My wife and two boys really enjoyed the meal, we'll be visiting again soon....

Just returned from an excellent couple of days at the Cross Keys. The hostess, Margaret was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Superb food and generous portions! Lovely breakfast. It's a great base to explore the stunning border region of Scotland. Thank you, Phil, Liza and Sophia.

Called in here on the way south. Lovely little inn. Margaret, the manager was lovely - very friendly and chatty. Had a great meal - pumpkin soup and stuffed jalapeno chillies! Great!! Very nice little inn and does have accomodation.

The bar/restaurant is very nice with an excellent atmosphere, and interesting/funny things to see. Although the haddock wasn't the best I've ever had, the nachos were amazing as was the waffle for desert. There is also a nice selection of beer. If you're in the area, it is well worth a visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well-kept....

I can't rate this place highly enough. My teenage son and I stayed here in August and it was just perfect. Easy to reach from England and the nearby train station meant we could travel by train into Edinburgh - avoiding my phobia of driving in cities. Room was spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable beds, breakfast cooked to order was...

I've been going to the Cross Keys Inn for about 4 years now and it's a home from home and they know how to look after a customer, sometimes it's quiet (it's a country pub) but it can fill up in seconds! Someone put up a review that said they had to wait for a drink as the staff were...

We stayed here overnight and enjoyed an extremely warm welcome from Margaret , the proprietor. Our room was spotless and the lovely touches of toiletries, bottled water and assorted hot drinks were an added bonus. The food was excellent especially the huge Scottish breakfast which set us up for the day. The bar areas are quirky and cosy, a real...
