We enjoyed our stay at Heatherlea House Hotel. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. We enjoyed our evening meal. You will tind that there is a good menu choice for evening meals. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. The breakfast is great with a choice of juice and cereal and a full cooked Scottish breakfast....

We stayed one night and the owner was very welcoming. We had our dog with us and we're pleased to find excellent walks near by. Our room was very comfortable although the ensuite was very small. We ate at the hotel and had an excellent homemade steak and ale pie. Plenty of car parking space. We would not hesitate to...

My wife and i were originally going to stay 2 nights but ended up staying one more as we were enjoying the place so much. the staff couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a problem. the room was great and so was the food breakfast was superb and we had dinner here 2 nights and it didn't disappoint....

My wife and I stayed here for a total of 3 nights. We were immediately welcomed by Sharon, who ran the place.The hotel itself is a bit tired, but the staff are exceedingly cheery and helpful. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast , the owner made us feel very welcome. We would use this hotel again a bit old fashioned but this is part of its charm. We would use this hotel again it is well placed to see the Borders .
