The location is beautiful. The site is one step up from wild camping. no Showers, although there is a run down toilet block nearby. The website is out of date and the inn has now closed. I found this to be very misleading. I was disappointed to find lots of litter and discarded items of property about the site. It...

This review is for the campsite, as the inn is now sadly closed. Tibbie's site has an amazing location. It has excellent walking paths being on the Southern Upland Way, it has lots of camping areas and boosts a loch-side location (so take any watersports equipment you have as it has direct access to the water with a new jetty)....

It's a total shame what's happened to this lovely place. The location is stunning. However The facilities are now appalling and unhygienic and the attitude of the owner is extraordinary. On arrival we were told that we should have booked and we can't just turn up. When we asked if he was full (as there was no tents there) he...

We camped for one night. Sheep are now on the camping field. There is sheep poo everywhere. This is not good for children or for adults. Really unhygienic. Toilets hadn't been cleaned and were dirty. Won't be back.

Took a drive on one of the few warm days we get and i decided to take a break at the Robbie Sheila. What a let down on how I remembered it a few years ago. The place is shabby and needs some TLC. It appeared that guests visitors were just to much trouble so I gave up and went...

Visited this inn for a drink and meal however after 10 mins of waiting as the staff were to busy gossiping and on raising the question are you serving we were met by insults we left and won't be returning. This used to be such a good watering hole with food and always used to be busy. But with attitudes...

We arrived after cycling 40 miles to find there was no shower for campers, considering all the other reviews we actually found Alistair quite friendly and helpful, the food was pretty tasty too, it is pretty basic and untidy, the pub could do with a lick of paint and if some money was invested in the site, I.e, decent toilet...

Stayed at Tibbie's for a weekend and had a thoroughly great time, wonderful scenery and ambience just what one would expect in the location with respect to the people and the property. Do not expect to see a Marriot or high priced spa hotel but what you do have is warm, homely and welcoming. Had a fantastic meal cooked by...

I was walking the Southern Upland Way and I spent one night in a single-room. For walkers it is a great place to stay, you get a huge breakfast and the choice for dinner is good. The area is fantastic!
