Arrived at 5.30 for dinner and there was only a couple of other people in the restaurant. It was spotless and I really liked the decor. Service was excellent. Food was really tasty. Huge menu and huge portions. I like the fact there is an outside area for smokers and one for non smokers. Lovely toilets that were really clean.... More

I found all the staff to be very pleasant and provide efficient service. The bar, restaurant and grounds are all very well presented. Been here twice in last year for family gatherings. Only wish I stayed closer as I'm sure I'd be a regular visitor

Visited tonight for a meal. Had the chicken fajitas. Was far too much chicken and the wraps were tiny, was only enough sauces and cheese for two wraps when 4 were served. Definitely say the chefs need to either cut down on the chicken or give bigger wraps... I could only fit in two small bits of chicken and the... More

Our party stayed at this hotel for two nights. The welcome was warn and friendly and nothing was any trouble to the host. Breakfast was either continental or cooked. The cooked breakfast was pre-ordered with a wide variety of choice; it was served at a chosen time and was piping hot. The dinner menu also offered a wide choice and... More

Went here for a family gathering, last time I was in the Edenbank Hotel was in the late1970's and it has certainly changed since then!! Lovely buffet and very attentive staff, reasonably priced and well stocked bar and a really nice beer garden.Shame I don't live in Dumfries as I would definately come back here.

We had an overnight stay here on our way to Aberdeen. The room was spacious and comfortable with a well appointed en suite. The staff were attentive and friendly. We sat outside on the patio in the sun for a drink before going out to eat. Very clean overall. There was a slight query over breakfast included or excluded from... More

A very enjoyable meal, attentive and cheery staff. I'll be back for other dishes to try from the menu. Been twice already... It's a fairly secluded spot on the hill despite being near the centre of town.
