Firstly I have to commend this hotel since our planned visit had to be deferred for a few months due to illness and we were not penalised. The porters are absolutely amazing in cheerfully transferring my 93 year old Mother from the car to her accessible room (we could park round the back). The hotel is situated in vast grounds...

We visited Cally Palace over the new year celebrations and had a fantasic time. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are perfect for dog owners, golfers and families alike. There is plenty of woodland to explore and enjoy. The hotel was welcoming and friendly. Every room was festive and inviting. The new year party consisted of a champagne reception,...

Been here several times and this time we have visited with family for twixmas break. As a package we should have has mulled wine and mince pies on arrival but the staff were unaware and not helpful at all. Very disappointing, as you would think they would have some sort of brief for the products the hotel is offering and...

Wonderful visit over the New Year period. My family and I had a fantastic time during our visit. A splendid hotel set within beautiful grounds - fantastic if you want a stroll with the dog. The food was fabulous and the management and staff were pleasant and helpful. I look forward to our next visit.

A time piece of elegance with good old fashioned traditions being kept, from proper attire in the evening for dinner and good solid family type hotel giving class distinction and away from the sterility of many modern hotels. You can instantly feel at home here and float away in fantasy to another era. Just made our Christmas fantasy come true.

Wonderful 2 night weekend break at this hotel. Have stayed in other McMillan hotels and this matches the high standards provided by others. Room was excellent size and well laid out. Bathroom small but, again, well laid out. Shower over bath with good pressure and good quality toiletries. Fresh, white and fluffy towels etc. Good nights sleep with no issues....

Upon arrival, room was not ready, no offer of coffee to pass time away. Room was just warm with regulator to radiators not working. Bathroom sliding sash window kept open with wooden wedge, very dangerous, Booked reservation in restaurant for 1940, starter served at 2020 with main meal served at 2210 by which time the staff were tidying up and...

Lovely hotel and grounds with very helpful staff, sonny deserves a special mention. Everything done with grace. Not really dog friendly though, no dogs in public areas and they'd prefer dogs not left in rooms.

This hotel is only about an hour from our home but it was like stepping off the carousel for a few days and chilling out. Good old fashioned standards - staff were superb. Rooms large and comfortable. Shower could have done with a bit more pressure - but then the one in the swimming pool area was brilliant.

Having been at Cally Palace before I was not surprised at the welcome and caring atmosphere of the hotel. The staff go out of their way unobtrusively to make sure your stay is pleasant in all areas. The activities available are second to non with a great golf course as well as a pool and other activities for all ages,...
