Inside was very welcoming with several members of staff asking us what we wanted and several places to sit and although only there for drinks, wine and coffee mid afternoon was nicely served and reasonably priced well worth the visit

A really superb week-end with a resident Astronomer for this break. Hotel and food
excellent, care and attention excellent. Free time during the day -we went bird-watching on the Solway - which was excellent in February.
