Pulled into the park and from our first contact with the bar man we were immediately impressed!! We were greeted by the locals in the bar with a very warm welcome - and proceeded to send some time in Alfred's. Three generations of family from Australia on tour - and each and every one of us felt at home 🏠...

stayed here for one night although the site is huge it is more geared to the owners of the new static homes on the site, with a bar serving food etc the fields laid out for the touring caravans are generally on a slope with the electric points just dotted over the area, the toilets/showers although old are well equipped...

This looked like a nice place to stay on their website, upon arrival we paid for a grass pitch with electric and were instructed by the very friendly receptionist where to go. The site wasn't laid out very well and only pitches available were on a hill, try pitching a Motorhome on that with a couple of levelling ramps which...

The place is nice and open. It has a beautiful lagoon nearby. Not at all too crowded. Big enough lawn areas to play ball with the children. We stayed at a Two-bedroom static caravan, everything looked new, in good condition, and clean. It had two small but modern toilets. Open concept Kitchen very well equipped. Beds comfortable. Sheets and towels...

Good site for camping woman was friendly at the counter on arrival. Toilets and showers clean ....what does let this site down was the total lack of customer service from behind the bar in Alfreds looks like a family run place maybe and could not care one bit if you came back . Substandard food. Given that a train runs...

This site is a Diamond in the rough. I came a few years ago, stayed in a caravan on site. Loved it. Went back this time in a camper van. Sorry to start on the doom and gloom.... the showers are terrible. They were clean ( ish ) ( disabled facilities are good) but are in desperate need of a...

Had the best short break here with the family. All the staff are superb and the food is excellent . The new bar/restaurant is so clean and the staff are amazing. Kids had hours of fun in the play ground and fab walks around the lake. Will be booking again for next year.
