Stayed for two nights in October 2020 What a delight. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and very comfortable we both slept great The hosts are fantastically friendly we even got tea and a delicious slice of home made cake on arrival Moffat itself is just a two minute walk down the street to some great pubs and restaurants Breakfast in the guesthouse was top quality really enjoyed it Overall a fantastic place to stay in a great village Can’t recommend enough would definitely return 10/10

We had a wonderful restful few days at the Del-Mar guesthouse. Spotlessly clean & comfortable rooms. Our room was at the front of the property with a beautiful big bay window & comfortable chairs we loved watching the sunset over the hills from there in the evening. We were met by Sue on check-in with a warm welcome, cups of tea & gorgeous homemade lemon drizzle cake. The following morning a delicious cooked breakfast made with quality local produce. Sue & David were fabulous hosts we felt at home during our stay & look forward to going back. Moffat was a lovely town we really enjoyed exploring the local area. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having watch Sue on facebook through lockdown and her daily cooking videos, and then posts about the town and surrounding walks, we could not wait to book and visit. We were not disappointed. Greeted like old friends, on arrival were made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and a slice of cake...yes was cheeky enough to ask for a slice to be saved from her latest video! Lovely room, with great views, clean and fresh decoration throughout, with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is included and this offered us cereal, fruit, yoghurt as well as a cooked breakfast and toast, as well as tea, coffee and fruit Juice. Dell-Mar ticks all the boxes, located on a quiet road, with the town centre is walkable distance, as well as plenty to do and places to go. Lovely!

Susan made my daughter and her new Fiancé very welcome after a very long journey from the North of Scotland. They said the breakfast was plentiful and tasty and found the beds and room very cosy and comfortable.

Had a great break at the Dell Mar, I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a friendly place to stay if looking in Moffat. Great hosts, they look after you from the welcome through the door to leaving. Nothing is too much trouble and they offer advice of where to go and where there are walks. I have to mention the breakfast which is excellent, with a good choice and is well presented. Even though we are going through difficult times with COVID everything has been well thought out. The guesthouse is an excellent location only minutes from the centre of Moffat. Definite recommendation!!
