Stayed 4 nights in our motorhome at Riverview Caravan Park and couldn't fault it. Right next to the beach and what a view. The facilities are immaculate and the grounds are kept beautifully. The staff are helpful and welcoming.
Pretty park, clean quiet, warm welcome. On the beach, 5minutes to tesco, takeaways, lovely walk or cycle to nearby Broughty Ferry, will be back very chilled. The garden /borders are packed with beautifully tended flowers very colourful.
Had a lovely stay at Riverview caravan park. Friendly welcome when arrived. Park is very well kept and toilet block immaculate. We love how quiet it is and like the adult only rule as it is lovely and peaceful which suits us nicely. The location is fabulous - right next to beach and walking distance to tesco and other local shops. Recommend the Indian Gulanar round corner, food was excellent and they deliver if you want. Highly recommend this site if you want a relaxing time. We will definitely continue to book again. Location and views are excellent and staff there keep site looking lovely!
Arrived home from another 8 nights at this Superb Park. As always it started with a super friendly welcome. The Park is looking fantastic (All down to Ian) who told me to say that 😆. You won't find a better site with a great location for all your holiday needs. Thanks to you All for giving us a great break. See you soon 😊
Traveling from our home to Riverview for easter weekend with friends we had an accident with our caravan. We phoned Riverview to let them know we were going to be late arriving if at all, Explained what had happened and lady at Riverview said she had tourer van trade in she could let us stay in for weekend,we couldn't believe our luck that we were able to salvage our weekend from disaster, Can't thank Riverview staff enough, they even put the van on the pitch we had booked so we could be with our friends. We will be forever grateful to Riverview for their kindness and once we get another van we will definitely be returning to Riverview, Monifieth in the future.Totally recommend this caravan park to anyone, facilities are first class and location is second to none, right on beach and only five mins into town.…
This is a favourite site of ours and have been visiting here for a while. It’s a shame it’s now adults only as grandchildren love it here although children still on site? Great for walks on the beach and grounds are kept spotless with flowers and water features everywhere. Only thing that spoils it for me this visit is the tacky flags and pennants some people think they need to have attached to their caravans. Spoils the look and not 5 *.
Having been to this site for nearly 45yrs, this is the first disappointing visit. We were informed last year during a visit that toilet/shower block was closed we’d due to covid and renovations taking place, this hasn’t happened at first glance. Main issue we have, is adult only site!!! This has always been a family friendly site since it was z as Council site many years ago. I cannot bring my grandchild on holiday now to a site we have loved for all this time. Site quiet this weekend. Tayview site along the road very busy with families?? Tells a story
We always try to start and finish the season at Riverview, this year we did all our holidaying at Riverview. Park is beautiful the floral displays all around the park and grounds are just breath taking. Toilet/Shower block are immaculate. Met with a warm welcome as always. Do not just take my review for it, go and book in and see for yourself you still have time if your fast the touring season has been extended till 7th November this year. In my opinion this is the best park in Scotland, so what you waiting for book yourself in now! See you next season at Riverview.
Visited Riverview for 3 nights. It was our first visit but won’t be our last. The site is incredibly well kept, the toilet block is immaculate and all in all we had a fabulous time. It is right next to a lovely beach where we walked our 2 dogs and the town of Monifieth had everything we wanted.
We stayed here for 3 nights with our motorhome at the beginning of September. The site is well maintained, lots of grass and flowers make it very pretty. The facilities are spotlessly clean (just one thing - the toilets are very low down!) with nice hot showers. They're push-button but you do get about 15 seconds of water each time. There are washing machines and a tumble drier. You aren't allowed to put up washing lines on the pitches but there are 3 rotary lines behind the utility block. There is a cycle path that runs right by the site; we went to Dundee which is 6 miles away, and we only had to cycle on the road for a couple of very short distances. The beach is also right by the site, accessed by day through a pedestrian gate. The station is only a 10 minute walk away and you can get to Dundee or Arbroath in 15 minutes. You could go further - Edinburgh, Aberdeen if you wanted! Local shops are also close by - Tesco, takeaways, some yummy bakeries! Wifi is free and we found it generally worked well. We found the drive-over grey waste disposal point (a rarity in the UK!) a bonus. All in all we would definitely recommend this site.…
