We hired a room here for my father in laws wake. We were greeted at the door by the manager (although it would have been nice to be taken up to our room). Very lovely and discreet staff! Sausage rolls went down a storm although the sandwiches not so much. Manager was quick to provide more food and tables when...

Booked one night to meet up with family who live in Kilmarnock. The hotel was already known to us but last visited 13 years ago when using the conference facilities. We stayed on Sunday night and got a fantastic B & B rate. Room was large, clean and well furnished. We met family, had a catch up in the bar...

Not really sure what we were expecting from this; we were visiting family and it was booked for us by them. We probably anticipated a kind of Premier Inn / Holiday Inn type place, but were pleasantly surprised as it was actually quite a lot nicer. The rooms were clean, and an above-average size. The only little downside was it...

Great afternoon out at the family Christmas buffet. Lots of entertainment for the children (magician, bouncy castle and Santa) and plenty of food for the grown ups. Great choice at buffet and plenty staff to keep tables clear and serve drinks. Second year we've been here and we will be back.

We came here to visit my son and granddaughter to exchange Christmas present and birthday presents for my granddaughter. Its the second time we have stayed here and its convenient for visiting my son who lives nearby. We had a large room and a modern bathroom with overhead shower in the bath. It was clean and comfortable. We were there...

Tried to order a sandwich, advertised as available 24hrs, just before 1 in the morning and got told "the bars heaving, you've got no chance mate, you'll need to come down get it yourself". Also have to pre-register for room service?? What a joke.

I stayed at this hotel on Business this week, and was looking forward to relaxing after a long days travel at a quality hotel. The location is great - right next to the football stadium and when we arrived we could see their large Christmas tree in the window which looked very inviting. When we checked in (around 5.30pm), there...

Comfortable modern hotel with a good restaurant. Large comfortable rooms finished to a good standard. The food in the restaurant is of a good quality and all staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Food quality makes it a good choice to eat in rather than go out. Highly recommended.

Chose this hotel as it is the closest to the football stadium, turned out to be literally next door - what a bonus as we were there to watch Scotland play Georgia at rugby. Very comfortable hotel, average restaurant for evening meals and a good breakfast choice.

I can't say there was anything wrong with my visit. It was a business trip, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful, the service was good and food quality was fine. Did it exceed expectations? Probably not. But for the price and location I have no complaints. Will visit again.
