Location brilliant. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, no 19 to front of building which was well furnished and fully equipped. Personal touches of slippers, milk, tea, coffees, jams, cereals, apple juice etc a lovely thought and bathrooms both with shower gels and shampoo. Apartment a good size, spotlessly clean and staff all very helpful. I would definitely stay again as of a high standard and location great. Only downside to no 19 was the street noise however wouldn’t be put off by this. Keep up the high standards
What a wonderful place to stay. Situated ten minutes from the old town. Bars and restaurants minutes away. Very helpful staff, special thanks to Magda. Clean, well equipped, would highly recommend. Would also recommend visiting the pub next door.
What a lovely stay we had in our 1 Bedroom apartment. The Braid was close to all major attractions and as we had come to Edinburgh for Hogmanay, location was Superb. Huge thanks goes to Magda who was so very helpful and friendly and to the lovely ladies who made up our room every day. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting room to move, washing machine was an added bonus as we had been to Europe on a tour prior to arriving so was great to get clothes fresh and clean again as well as having the luxury of a dishwasher microwave and fridge was bliss for those late night meals we were able to reheat after being out exploring beautiful Edinburgh each day. 10 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and half hour if that to Royal Yacht Britannia. Definitely stay again if we ever get another chance to view Edinburgh. …
What a fantastic find.Apartments are immaculate in both cleanliness and decoration.Lovely modern bathrooms and kitchens, comfortable beds.As you walk in to reception you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, a very modern and clean reception and a beautiful smell, a fantastic first impression, very well done everybody. The rooms were more than adequate with cooking facilities and kitchens which were very well equipped. There were also fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee, sugar sachets. The location was brilliant, a couple of minutes walk to main shopping area, also surrounded by some lovely restaurants. Although it was close to centre, it is situated on a cobbled street away from main road. We had a brilliant 3 day stay in Edinburgh, Christmas market, bus tour, lovely walks around the old town, castle etc, made complete by this fabulous and very convenient accommodation.I would not hesitate to recommend to other travellers and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. …
We were a large group attending wedding so we rented 10 of the apartments for a few days. We found them very clean and luxurious. Kitchens were well appointed for self-catering. They also had complimentary fresh milk, bread, juice and cereals left for breakfast. One of the rooms: number 19 on top floor we reckoned had the best views of all the apartments with corner bay windows over Thistle street and over roofs towards George Street. Also they provided us with free parking over at their other Mansley Appartments - Knights Rooms.(Parking is very expensive in this area of Edinburgh)
