We found this place because of a last minute cancellation of an AirBnB booking. And we were very happy. The building is over 100 years old. The owners made us feel very welcome, and provided great breakfasts. On several bus routes, it's only a few minutes into Edinburgh City Centre. The owners sold the property with closing shortly after we...

Arrived on the Friday evening and was met at the front of house reception with expletives by the owner, seemed keen in a rude and expletive way to let us know that he had had a busy day, not what you expect when you check in. Ok, I thought, he may have had a bad day, we all do I...

Over priced, disappointing, go elsewhere. Parking is in side streets, nothing like the add. Room was clean but bathroom was a bath with a broken shower nozzle and no where to hung the shower head if you wanted a shower. No block out curtains. Wifi was horrible, hardly works.

Comfortable rooms in a family friendly b&b. When a couple of other guests got too noisy in another room next door the hosts quickly asked them to keep it down, with no fuss. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here.

Picked using Trip Advisor Reviews. Was not disappointed. It is a Guesthouse not a 5 star Hotel. As such it ticks all the boxes. The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for city centre and close to bus services. We had a double room, which was big enough, warm and clean. En suite was fine, and...

This is the second time that I have stayed here. The host, Graham, is super friendly. The facilities are good, it's clean and tidy. The breakfast has been a highlight of my trip in Edinburgh on both occasions, a full Scottish breakfast and all the tea, coffee, juice, toast, cereal and fruit you want. The location is also really convenient,...

I stayed in Brothaigh House last august with my family during the Fringe festival and the Tatoo military festival. The house is very nice, the service is good. It's close to the centre and there are a lot of bus to travel to the centre (sometimes we walk because is not to far). Good breakfast with also tipical scottish food....

This victorian house b&b is situated about 20 minutes walk from Royal Mile, and if you don't want to walk, just in front of it there's the bus stop. If you have your car, there are parking places in the surrounding streets: the b&b car park's at the rear of the house is quite small. The owner were very helpful...

I've been in different B&B in Scotland, most of them lovely but this one has not satisfied me. my room was quite spacious but not so clean as I like, I mean dust and hair everywhere in room and toilet,. Usual continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, some fresh fruits, toast, marmelade coffee and tea; it was good but...

My girlfriend and I stayed in edinburgh for the marathon in may 2015. The house was pleasent, rooms clean, a bit dated but well equpped, breakfast was fresh and well prepared on each day. The owners are absolutely lovely, they made us feel at home, were available to give advice and genuinely cared how we were enjoying their city. On...
