On arrival, there was no-one there to check us in. After a couple of minutes looking, we found our key in an envelope marked for our attention in a small box. Despite having our number, no-one from the establishment rang to mention this. We got into the room which was fine. However, there were no towels. When we rang one...

I booked in for a friday night as i had my works Christmas night out in Edinburgh. I booked quite late and it was one of the cheapest going. I was only really looking for somewhere to get ready and fall asleep so i didn't need anything special. It cost me £37 for the night which is cheap for Edinburgh....

We booked 20 mins before we arrived, which was really handy. There wasn't anyone to greet us, but it did say that check in was before 5 and we checked in at 543, so we couldn't moan. We followed the instructions and called the number to come and let us in/password for key. They left us out there for a...

We had a twin room for an overnight stay. Nobody really there to book us in or bell to ring for assistance, we were lucky that a man can up. He was a nice man and carried our bags to the room. It looks like an effort is being made to improve/update the guesthouse, I would suggest they still have...

I stayed there myself when my husband was in a nearby hospital. After 3 nights I had yet to see anyone with any responsibilty for the Guest House; my heart went out to a Chinese family who had just arrived as I was leaving one afternoon and they had to call a mobile number from a selection of 3 on...

Not really a guesthouse in the conventional sense, there is no breakfast provided, no lounge or communal area, no on site host or proprietor, no staff on site overnight, just a staff member there during office hours. You will have to make arrangements to check in after 5 pm. There has clearly been some effort to update the guest rooms,...

I needed somewhere cheap and cheerful after landing at the airport after midnight, the hotel is on the airlink bus route and about half way from airport to city centre, its also quite close to Haymarket railway station. I'd use it again

Only contact was when I had to call him to ask how to get into property never saw any staff at all. Parking almost impossible the car park is so small. Foolishly assumed as it was a guest house we could get breakfast - not the case. Basement room which was very dark and bathroom smelled of damp probably from...

well actually the title of my review is slightly misleading because if you do like cold water you still can't have even a cold shower because there us no water pressure, plus you may prefer to wash in the roof cutters as they are cleaner, so many faults and problems I couldn't possibly express it all unless I write a...

I booked two rooms by accident on Booking.com and cancelled one immediately after I did it. The terms and conditions said I am due a refund. Myself and Booking.com have contacted the guesthouse multiple times but have still received no reply or refund. Will never use again. And I rarely ever say that about somewhere I've stayed before - just...
