We were in room 3. We have no idea how the other rooms are, but our room was the most spacious room of any B&B we stayed in in Scotland on this trip. There were nice comfortable arm chairs and plenty of legroom. George was extremely helpful. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to taste his full Scottish breakfast as... More

During our week in Edinburgh we found George to be an ideal host providing both excellent food and good comfortable bed with a separate enterance to the room. He gave us information about buses both where to catch them and the cost of a daily ticket. I would certainly stay here again.

Third time we stayed here. George is a good host, rooms are good and the beds are very comfortable. Only downside is the traffic but what to expect with the main road from the airport to downtown Edinburgh just outside. Good Scottish breakfast to start the day. Easy to get to from the airport and easy to go into Edinburg... More

I used Netherby House for one night after my flight to Edinburgh and for two more when I came back from my trip to the Highlands. It's a good location if you want/have to stay close to the airport (10 minutes on the AirLink bus) but also not too far off from the city. There is a direct bus which... More

We came late, bags and bikes and all, ready for ten days on scottish roads. Large room, plenty of space for putting our bikes together outside in the backyard, nice, large bed, big bathroom, coffee & tea, hairdryer, extra blankets, quiet and clean. George, the friendly host of Netherby, kept our bicycle bags for us and had everything ready when... More

Had the fortune to have a one night stay booked via work, so never know what to expect. However was really pleasantly surprised on the quality of this B&B, located only a couple of miles from the city centre it is very easily accessible. The room I had was a family room with a double and a single bed, equipped... More

This was our 3rd time at Netherby House and it won't be our last! So convenient for the airport with secure car parking available at a fraction of what it would cost at at the airport. As always, an excellent friendly service from George who was more than helpful organising taxis for us and suggesting great places to eat close... More

I stayed overnight before and after a trip to Prague. The room, upstairs, at the back of the house was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. There are several restaurants nearby - the Chinese was great!. The owner was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was exactly what I wanted, with plenty of choice. The only downside was the noise...
