Hotel basic but clean. Free wifi throughout the stay would be good. Bed comfortable. The sink in the bathroom had a crack in the basin. The room should not have been let. We were offered another room.

This hotel is centrally located in Edinburgh's new town, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Room was large with good shower and comfortable bed. It was a bit noisy, within and outside the hotel, but overall very comfortable and good value for money.

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to
play. This is the city’s central business district
with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest
clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned

I don't think there is parking. We had taken the train but parking is at a premium in the city.
