Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely bright hotel with clean comfortable rooms and communal areas. Very quiet hotel, allowing for a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well stocked with a variety of foods. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times.

This is one Travelodge's better hotels. I would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I can really mark it down for, is the size of the shower. Being over 6' tall I found it to be a slightly bit tight, which is disappointing as, I believe, this is a fairly new building.

Edinburgh Park Travelodge is the best one I have stayed at. We arrived just before 10pm, tired after a long journey and were checked in quickly by a very friendly and helpful guy called Fraser who explained everything and answered any questions we had. The hotel had plenty free parking and the room was one of the cleanest I have been in. Everything was fresh and the bathroom was exceptionally clean with really nice smelling complimentary soap and shower gel. The room was a perfect temperature & quiet for our stay. We were up early for a flight from the nearby airport and the checkout process is very simple. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night only! Nice clean rooms very attentive staff while checking in. Bus stop close by and couldn't fault it at all. Great value for money. Had a few drinks downstairs at the bar. Young lad answered all our questions and was very helpful in directing us to all the local attractions.

Stayed here twice. First time last January and this January booked on nights around £25 a night to visit Edinburgh. Basic clean rooms and relatively new. First visit room had flashing blue light on the broken heating/ air conditioning and hardly slept for a couple of nights, then staff taped over the flashing light otherwise I’d have just gone home. We had used the bus stop almost opposite to get into Edinburgh via Corstorphine with nice cafes and Wetherspoon and onward into the centre of Edinburgh. This year bus routes were changed and only via fountainbridge and more outlying areas. We thought we would try the travelodge again as relatively cheap again. Room looked fine but shower curtain inches too short and flooded all over the shower room along with the soap dispenser by the sink dripping out all over the floor too. Soap seemed watered down. We mopped the floor with a towel which was still lying soaked in the shower when we got back after our day out. Who doesn’t notice a shower curtains far too short! There is no heating in the shower room to dry your towels which were not changed either. I had read before visiting that there was no heating on our floor. Mentioned this at check in and was told it was fixed. Heating worked fine on first night and we were asked in the morning if the room was warm enough but the second night only cold air blowing out so gave up. I think what your never told is that heating never works and is only switched on for your room manually if you ask at reception. This has been our experience at most travelodges and other supposedly budget chains during the last year. ( you have to search high and low for any budget prices nowadays. ) We didn’t eat here either stay but used the restaurant beside the Travelodge sometimes mainly as it seems to be void of any staff. We only really dealt with one person who was probably the receptionist, cleaner, maintainance person etc. There is a free car park beside the hotel. Overall if things not broken etc our stays would have been fine but certainly not worth more that the amount we paid.

Our recent stay at Travelodge was fantastic, largely thanks to the wonderful care provided by Kirsty and Brenda. From their warm welcome to their attentive service throughout our stay, they made us feel truly valued as guests. The accommodations were comfortable, and the convenient location made exploring the area a breeze. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend Travelodge, especially with Kirsty and Brenda's exceptional hospitality.
