As expected very functional, clean, quiet but no character to the building including Bar Café which is like a canteen. Great value breakfast. Within walking distance of Princess Street or a good bus service right outside the hotel. Parking is the main bug bear. Free on street parking at weekend but watch out during weekdays since it is max 4hr...

Booked this hotel because of price and location although it was not cheap was better than others near to centre especially at fringe time. When you look online it tells you fully refurbished rooms, I would of hated to see it before, bedroom windows were old wooden frames and repainted 300 times, bedding was torn, carpet looked unclean toilet seat...

This Travelodge is based in an older building just away from the city centre, just past Dean Bridge. It is about a 10 minute walk to the west end of Princes Street, so it is therefore convenient for Edinburgh Castle. It would be a 30 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley rail station. A taxi from the rail station for a...

We were pleased with the overall service at Travelodge. I had no issues and every staff that was at the reception desk was polite and professional. They offered me a map, advised me where nearest supermarket was. Immediately got me an iron and board when requested. Printed out our tickets in no time. I was pleasantly surprised by the size...

Clean and comfortable stay. Good variety of food offered for the all you can eat breakfast buffet, although a little pricey but children do get to eat for free! The location is good , and is only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street.

Great comfy beds and friendly staff. Rooms are clean though some are small. We pre-booked the breakfast which proved to be great value and good quality food, with lots of choice. This hotel is situated in a quiet residential location an easy ten minute stroll to Princess Street. There is a convenient bus stop just yards from the hotel. We...

All staff very helpful, especially night receptionist. However, breakfast a disaster - no cutlery, bowls or mugs and had to sit in the bar. it was busy, but its a no brainer that it will be busy each year at the fringe and you could have planned round it.
