We stayed in Alexanders Rooms for three nights beginning of July 2016. It was our first stay in Edinburgh. We felt immediately at home thanks to Keith, a very friendly host. The room was quiet and beautiful. The breakfast was luxurious. The location in the neighborhood called Morningside is perfect for visiting the city and there are great coffeeshops nearby....

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. We can only say our stay was faultless. We had arrived by train to Edinburgh city centre and caught the bus for the 20 minute journey. The bus stop is on the Morningside Road and conveniently right across from Albert Terrace. (Use the free Lothian Bus app - it's brilliant and...

We had a really nice time at Alexanders Room; charming room, very nice atmosphere; Keith is a great host and a wonderful person; delicious breakfast. Morningside is a very nice district, only 15 minutes walk from city centre. Our first adress when we come back to Edinburgh

We booked in here for 2 nights due to an unexpected change in plan and could not have been happier with our choice. The location is superb, quiet and very pretty and just a short walk from Morningside with all it has to offer. The free parking at Alexanders is a real help and makes for a very flexible stay,...

I stayed here with my partner and my parents, using both available rooms. Keith was great, very welcoming and helpful with a walking route in to the town and bus numbers. The rooms are huge compared to many I've been in, great facilities and very quiet which is welcome after a day in the vibrant hustle and bustle of Edinburgh....

We were warmly welcomed back to this excellent B&B. It was lovely to be back in the same clean comfortable room overlooking the garden. Set back from the road it is very quiet. Keith has thought of everything from shoe cleaning equipment to an adapter plug for over seas visitors. I love the breakfast with so many choices of cereal,...

We have stayed in Alexander's rooms several times and it never disappoints. Keith is a friendly and relaxed host. The flat is very quiet and comfortable, with a delightful garden. There are many good restaurants close by, as well as lovely shops and a cinema. The perfect place to stay in Edinburgh.

Our host Keith could not have been more welcoming. Furnished stylishly but nonetheless welcoming and cosy, we had a fantastically comfortable bed to sink into, big comforty armchairs, beautiful lamps, and loads of room to unpack. The living room was equally stylish and inviting. With a big dining room table, plenty of room was available to eat in style and comfort....

We stayed with Keith for some days at the beginning and end of our Scotland holiday in August 2015. It is a lovely Victorian villa, very quiet and surrounded by a nice little garden, furnished and looked after with great care, taste and joy. Although we arrived very late the first night (even later than announced) Keith welcomed us warmly...

Three of us have just stayed for two nights with Keith while we were visiting Edinburgh University. We had high hopes as Keith's reviews are excellent and we were not disappointed.
