I stayed here for 3 nights during the summer in a small room on the top floor of the guest house. The room was basic but reasonable for the price. I would have to agree with previous reviewers that I have never stayed in a B and B in which the staff make so little effort to be friendly. There...

I wrote everything below this para before noticing the previous reviews of this place. I have to say that I found the proprietors to be lovely, friendly people, and I didn't have any problems at all. We were pretty later getting to the B&B, arriving about 10:30. We received a warm welcome (we'd let them know). The rooms are fairly...

I stayed in this guest house this summer for 8 days. It was my first time in Edinburgh and I was there to sign a job contract, as I would start working mid-September. Although I absolutely loved the city and was surprised of how friendly Scottish people are, I must say that the owners of this guest house didn´t make...

During the storms last winter our company came out in the worst of it 160 mile an hour winds to take down Ivy that was threatening to cause damage to property and cars! After this the proprietress a Mrs Noreen Ul-haq chose to refuse to pay. As she is in England this has left us no legal avenue to chase...

For first two days everything was ok. Nice room, clean towels, good and tasty breakfast. But when I came back to my room on the second day, I discovered that there is no suitcase in the room, and some other items also were taken away ( air-tickets, iPod etc). There was a paper on my bed that my card was...

This B&B was clean and the location was ok if you take th bus. About 10 minutes by bus to downtown. Breakfast were fine but nothing extraordinary. Avoid room # 2. It was very small room for two people, but more importantly the bed was extremely uncomfortable. A change in bed would have brought our rating up.

I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2011. I am young, traveling alone with a back-pack. The location was ok, walkable from the main part of Edinburgh, but a bit far. It took me about 20 minutes, but was a nice walk. When I arrived I had to wait at the door a minute or two, when a lady...

I don't understand the negative reviews on here for this friendly B&B, unless perhaps it is now under new management or something? The owners were extremely friendly and the B&B was very clean, with a nice large double room with en suite (my only gripe being that the shower was very small), great breakfast and only a 20 minute leisurely...
