Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pros: -location is fantastic -price!!! -bath towels are thick and really good size -bed super comfy -shower pressure was brilliant Cons: -shower curtain stunk of wet dog/urine -dust on every surface, skirting board and in the bath and sink -1 tea bag!! -carpet had bits all over it -not enough sockets in the room, should be at least one by the bed -two girls on reception not very friendly, no hello or thanks, just a bit awkward really.

My friend and I stayed for one night, this time! Rooms were very modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The views from our rooms overlooked Waverly train station area and Princes Street gardens and all the old buildings on the hill. Beautiful new looking en suite. The hotel is immaculate, well maintained, very clean. The location is absolutely perfect, a one minute walk to train station and all the amenities. Staff were super attentive and always available. We will definitely stay here again, our rooms were £24 a night... fantastic value

I know I am talking about a Travelodge at the heart of a big Centre, but it was the worst one I have ever stayed. Poor cleaning, ridiculous breakfast in a box, lack of soap in the toilet. It was a pity

Stayed again for 2 nights at this hotel. It's in such great location and our room had a terrific view over the old town and beyond. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again, no problem. Highly recommended.

Very helpful staff. All set out Covid compliant. Clean rooms, and cleanliness evident throughout the hotel. We had a front-facing view out over Princes Street, and a short walk from and to Waverley Station.

This hotel is central for everything. The staff are friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Sometimes at night you could hear street noise and some children and adults were quite loud at night when going to their room other than that i would recommend this hotel and would stay here again
