We are a young couple that stayed for the weekend in Edinburgh. Canadale is a very cozy bed and breakfast, with nice and clean rooms. Pros: located very close to the bus station, able to get the keys at any time Cons: the owner was very hard to reach when needed, breakfast in the weekend is served very late (9-10)...

We stayed two nights at this B&B located on Pilrig Street, reachable with the bus 11. the bus stop is just accross the house. We didn't go for beakfast so I won't review it. We were on the top floor, internet connection was ok but not super strong, We had a room with the bathroom accross the hall not en-suite....

Tidy, cute, comfy & reasonably priced, this accommodation was a random internet pick. Really enjoyed the Scottish breakfast & she made nice 'to go' breakfast boxes for us on the mornings we left early. Liked the in room tea set-up too...shower pressure could have been better...if you don't mind about a 25 min walk from the Royal Mile this is...

The host and staff present the guest house as a homely and very personal experience in Edinburgh. Public transport is outside and the tram only a block away. This is the airport tram. The guest house is within walking distance of the station and is close by to quality restaurants, car hire facilities and theatre. Breakfast is included and the...

I had 4 days in Edinburgh at the end of my long holiday and booked in at Canadale. I'm glad I did. Catherine is very welcoming and friendly host. The house itself is an old Victorian so the rooms are small and the floor is creaky, but it is clean, comfortable and cosy. Breakfasts are good, and because a few...

This is a fabulous guesthouse - Lovely owner who was really helpful, delicious breakfast and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. There's a bus right outside the guesthouse so getting around couldn't be easy. Highly recommended!

We had a room on the top floor with our own bathroom. Very comfortable and it included the facilities you need; comfy beds, water cooker and nice bathroom. Excellent freshly made breakfast! Not necessarily negative but to keep in mind; 1) guest house is remote from city centre. But we took a black cab for GBP 5.50 so that is...

Stayed at the Canadale Guest House recently with my partner... We was very grateful that we was allowed to have our room earlier than 4pm.... I booked the room through booking.com. On the booking email it said we was having the ground floor. Upon arrival, we was informed that we was actually on the top floor... Not a problem but...
