I stayed in this hotel with my daughter while visiting my other daughter who is at university in Edinburgh and visiting the Christmas market. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the city center by bus, the bus stop is at the end of the road. The hotel is warm and welcoming, we had a ground floor twin room which...

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in this hotel. Room was big with plenty of space and a really good shower. Nice little bar area with seating. There was a great selection at breakfast, food was tasty and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Great little hotel.

This is a charming wee hotel. Yes some updating could help but it's clean spacious rooms. Amazing breakfast and staff are very helpful and friendly. It's also in a good location for getting to the city centre and the local attractions

Had a three day stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast choices and cooked to order. Short walk to public transportation. Moderate walk to city center. Small room on 3rd floor. Many steps. I would stay again but request 1st or 2nd floor. Thank you, Thomas

Stayed two nights and had a lovely stay here. When we checked in, the two staff who greeted us were very friendly and provided all the necessary information, including a map of the area with transportation (bus) routes. Our room was clean and bright, and larger than many of the other places we stayed in the UK; well-equipped bathroom, too....

Stayed for just one night as a stopover on the way to the Highlands and was very pleased with the choice. Parking in the street was easy and free. Staff, especially Thomas, could not have been more helpful and informative. We walked into centre of the city which only took 25-30mins but we could have got a bus at the...

A one night stay. The place seemed very tired an in need of an update. Our room was upstairs, quite a lot of stairs. But at least it was spacious. Parking is also an issue. On the upside, its only a 30 minute walk into the heart of Edinburgh. Breakfast could be done better.

A friendly, comfortable b & b with great selection of breakfast options, comfortable beds, and within easy walking distance of bus stops (only 10 mins ride to the centre of the city). Hotel Ceiligh-Donia is located in a very quiet residential side street. Excellent value. Only downside in our room was the lack of bedside reading lamps.
