We recently stayed at the Sandaig guest house - the room was clean, and modern just what you'd expect - the shower was a little bit cramped but adequate- but what really made the stay lovely was the friendly nature of the hosts and the high standard of the breakfasts. A little tip for the hosts would be to it... More

I enjoyed staying here. It was a great home base for my visit to Edinburgh. Very quite and peaceful. The bus stops in front of the guest house made getting back and forth from the city centre easy. Breakfast was great and included a nice selection.

We stayed just the one night and a key was conveniently left in a secure box which was easy to access. There were lots of places to eat near the Guest House. Our room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic and the hospitality of the host outstanding.

Stayed for two nights with my partner, with no complaints what so ever. Initially I was slightly concerned that we would need something and not be able to ask anyone for it, as you really don't see the staff/owners except at breakfast, however everything we could possibly need was in the room. Instructions for how to get into the guest... More

The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The host Andy is delightful and very helpful. From the Sandaig it is simple to take the bus to the center of town and easy to walk to the water, through a nice park. There are lots of great local pubs and restaurants in the neighborhood.

First visit to Edinburgh and Scotland with my partner. The guest house is not too far from the centre but is quiet enough. It faces a nice park. Very clean rooms and not too small. Complimentary sherry bottle in the room. Nice Scottish breakfast included in the price. The lady serving breakfast was very busy but very nice. And the... More

This is a wonderful B & B! It's right across from a park and the bus stop is right across the street. Andy, the host, is the best. We extended our stay here because we enjoyed it so much. We would definitely stay again. Dick & Diane Brown Franklin, NC USA
