We had a lovely time at this accommodation. The breakfast was lovely. It's perfectly located in Edinburgh, in a main road. Old fashioned style however everything was clean and we had no issues with anything. 02/06/2016

Lovely B&B just over a mile from city centre or 10 mins on bus/taxi. Well priced compared to others at £56 per night including breakfast. A little outdated in terms of furnishing but other than that no complaints in terms of the rooms. Well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, clean towels every day, bed made everyday and the...

My girlfriend and I stayed here a few days before Christmas. We picked the guest house because it was one of the better value options within walking distance of the city centre. It is perfectly located for a nice walk into the city with a few pubs in-between for a quick drink. There are regular buses if you don't want...

The rooms are lovely and cosy. Breakfast is also nice though I had asked for poached eggs and got scrambled instead. Never mind, it was still a lovely stay! It has free parking, free wi Fi and is just good!

Standard, classic B&B, nothing fancy. Rooms facing the road outside are quite noisy, the windows don't have double glazing. One of the rooms has a private bathroom across the hall, which can be a little awkward, especially if room service forgot to replace spare toilet paper. A bathrobe was provided, which was almost clean. Breakfast is served between 8:00 -...

The guesthouse is as described. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. It was great to be able to park just outside the front door. Breakfast was very good and a good choice. Cooked by the owner. Bus stop just outside door goes fast to centre. Nice location near Arthurs seat. Good price! Felt welcomed as a family....

It is just 10 minutes by bus to the city centre and there are a lot of buses stopping in front of this accomodation. Our room was very clean, comfortable and with a very nice...

We had to find accommodation in Edinburgh for family visit and tourist activities. The Arrandale guest house has it all. Great location since it is walking distance (around 3-3.5km) to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. There are dozens of buses that pass by the front door and operate late into the night for easier access to the main Edinburgh...

During my Scotland trip with my wife and in-laws we spent two non-consecutive nights in this B&B (one at the start of the trip and one at the end). Let me first start with the positive things: - big clean and airy rooms with all the amenities you expect to find in a nice B&B room (kettle with tea and...

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay here and found most of it to your satisfaction. To answer your points, four of the six rooms here are at the back of the house overlooking gardens and are quiet. The two rooms at the front of the house looking out towards the street will encounter some traffic noise, mostly during business hours...
