We enjoyed a perfect 3 night stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated. Bathroom was nicely appointed. The house retains many of its original interior features. The whole house was extremely clean. The host could not do enough for the guests. The bus service into town is convenient. We dined locally each night with a good variety of restaurants nearby perhaps 10-15 minute walk. I would rate this as one of the best places I have stayed in.

Myself and 3 friends were travelling to a local music festival and we are so glad we chose this B and B owners are lovely and very accommodating, our room ( we had the family room ) was amazing, very large and ample space for us and our luggage , beautiful decor with sofa and queen size bed , and beautiful en suite with walk in shower, weather was beautiful when we were there and we enjoyed a wine in the small outside garden which is very zen. Private parking is also a bonus, breakfast was lovely and cooked to order, accommodation is a short walk from local shops, restaurants and bars, if I’m being picky a fridge in the room would have been fab. We all agreed would definitely stay again and I have already recommended to my family and thinking of booking a stay for my parents for Christmas

Simon was super helpful, the bed was incredibly comfy, the breakfast was great, it was awesome! The only thing not so perfect was that there are no in room fridges so it might be a good idea to take a cool bag if you want lots of cups of tea, but there is a big fridge down the stairs. The patio/back garden area is lovely, quirky, and the resident tortoise Torres is just wonderful! The two restaurants Simon recommended were also excellent and incredibly good value. We probably won’t be back as we like to try out different places, but would 100% recommend. A lovely and great value getaway with fabulous service. Thankyou!!

Stayed here with my partner for only a night, wish we stayed longer!! The room was immaculate and both of the owners were very kind and helpful. We actually enjoyed being a little farther out from the Royal Mile, as the atmosphere is more relaxed and the bus routes still run close. Breakfast was amazing as well!! We decided that when we venture into Scotland next time around, Lauderville will be our first-choice accommodation! Do ask the owners for restaurant and activity suggestions (found in the room folder too), we found these to be extremely useful. Will be recommending this to friends and family, we will be back too!

We were lucky to find a room last minute and we were impressed with the outstanding decor, comfort, and services. Breakfast was very good, the location is good (we walked to the city centre in 25 mins), and we had dinner at one of the nice restaurants in the area. We definitely recommend this outstanding B&B.

This guest house was definitely one of my favorite parts of my trip to Edinburgh, which worked out super well considering it was a last minute booking for their last available room right before NYE. The room was extremely comfortable and cozy and exactly what I needed after lots of travel. The family who runs did a lovely job giving individualized attention and making sure my needs were met. Breakfast was very good. The location is pretty central and a nice 20 minute stroll from city center. Overall, I really appreciated how the staff really paid attention to details. Would definitely come back and would definitely recommend to others.

Enjoyed a great 3 night stay here with my wife. The hosts and all the staff are super friendly and really informative about the area. Our room was really cosy and the whole place is immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Looking forward to coming back another year. Location was fine for us....took about 25 minutes to walk to the city centre but easy enough to get a taxi which only takes about 6 minutes
