Our stay in Garfield Guest House was a delightful surprise. The price is more than reasonable and we found an extremely cozy, clean and nice place to stay. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Always willing to give you tips about the city and making sure you have everything you need. Besides the good spacious rooms, the breakfast was...

Rooms are very comfortable and very clean and I always look forward to my cooked breakfast in the mornings. Great location as its only 10 minute bus ride to Prince's Street with regular buses. I stayed at this lovely B&B in early January. I was welcomed by the news that my room had been upgraded to an ensuite which was very kind. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. I felt the location was good with plenty of free parking and regular bus services into the city...

Just had a great 3 night stay here. Room was lovely, as usual. Breakfast was lovely,as usual. Host was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. View for the front family room on the first floor was spectacular, Edinburgh castle is in full view and they were testing the lights for Hogmanay. It was brilliant. The welcome was warm as...

We stayed here in August 2016 and felt very lucky to find accommodations anywhere given that the Edinburgh Festival was happening, but Garfield House would be a great stay anytime. Charming and homey; good location about 20-30 minutes' walk from central attractions and right on bus line. Martin was a tremendous host, full of suggestions about where to go walking...

Great place to stay in Edinburgh, simply decorated but very cozy and everything you want from a guesthouse. Nice breakfast room and breakfast. Nice area with nice walk through the botanical gardens. Quiet and close to city center by bus (10-15 minutes).

Martin is so helpful and friendly, and is always available if you need anything. Breakfast is hot and well cooked, and the beds are comfortable. We had...

Martin, Kirsten and Kate are the smilingest, friendliest and helpfuliest of hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. This is our second 2-3 week stay, and we have loved it both times. It's clean and efficient and soooooo easy to get to town from, with bus stops very close by. (One is outside the front door). You can walk in to...

Felt very home like. Friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom was extremely clean. Loved the refreshment tray (tea, coffee, biscuits) especially after a delayed journey up. Breakfast was good, there was cereals, toast, fruit and you could have cooked as well with tea, coffee and juices provided.Bus stop just round the corner to get into town or a 30...
