So sorry that your guest house is now closed, Linda & Dave... But, wishing you all the best and an enjoyable retirement! My mum really misses staying with you. Not all B&Bs are that great you know! Trying a different one for her again next time she's over. Kind regards, HT

We were stunned by the size and elegance of our room but that should have been expected as we climbed the most beautiful wood staircase. We had a room for a family an though it faced the street, there wasn't any noise and the view was quite beautiful. The bus stop to take you into town was literally a two...

I had the priviledge to stay here with 3 other friends in 2003. The hosts were so sweet and hospitable. The rooms were clean and well kept. It was very easy to take transportation to all of the tourist spots in Edinburgh. It was one of the best trips of my life and this place made it even better!

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights to visit my son at university and see the pandas. You will receive a very warm welcome here from Linda and David Clunie. The house was warm and cosy, our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable, in fact, we both had the best night's sleep in ages and were...

My sister and I stayed for 5 nights with Linda and Dave on the recommendation of my neighbours who have been visiting for years. We couldn't have been more pleased. Room serviced and towels changed every day. Lovely breakfast, best bacon I have ever tasted! We will certainly stay again when we next visit Edinburgh. Very easy access to and...

For myself, a Guest House on the bus route to the Airport is very necessary: and taxis being a bit of a luxury on a tight budget so it's good that there are so many of them, on the way to an early flight. This being Scotland, it's useful to have your umbrella at hand for those earlier showers. It's...

Several members of my family booked in for a long weekend. It was ideal, Linda and Dave are great hosts, cooking breakfast just the way we asked for it. As is typical with families, we all wanted something different but it was smilingly presented. This is a roomy house with each room having its own character. We were able to...

I've stayed here on many occasions when business takes me to Edinburgh - in fact, i wouldn't choose anywhere else. Clean, bright, lovely breakfast (lots of choice), LInda and Dave couldn't do better - so welcoming and helpful. No broadband when I was there - but free access in a mally hotel along the road - but I enjoyed the...

I tried to find my place somewhere comfortably close to the centre of Edinburgh and was surprised by the place I have found. I have stayed before in the Holiday Inn nearby but the personal approach and homely atmosphere makes me to prefer this B&B for my future visits to Edinburgh. Whole place was well kept, clean and my room...

This was a lovely B&B and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. After a series of hotel stays it was a real joy to stay in this haven. The single room at the back was cozy, beautifully presented and really comfortable. Dave and Linda are delightful, welcoming hosts who rustle up a superb breakfast with plenty to choose from. You really...
