My daughter and I stayed at the Claymore for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. On our arrival we were greeted by the friendly landlady, Cathy, shown to our immaculate and comfortable room and offered fresh milk for our tea. Cathy was there to give us some great suggestions about where to go in Edinburgh and how to get there...

Since first email, Cathy was really helpful and kind, and once you're here you feel like home. Shame we could not stay forever! Encantadora la dueña, incluso nos ayudó a llamar al cartero por un envío urgente que esperábamos. Wish we could be back soon! Ojalá podamos volver pronto!

Had an excellent few days stay during the Fringe. Superb breakfast & comfey bed. All within a short walk of all the Fringe action. We had a lovely stay and were well looked after by the owners who care about you and the planet.

I stayed at Claymore for four nights in June and really enjoyed my stay. Cathy was so warm and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I found the room to be cosy and homely with really quaint decorations. The room was really clean and nicely decorated. Although fairly small, it had a very cosy feel to it. It was...

Felt really welcomed at Claymore, she couldn't do enough for us, finding out info and booklets for us regarding where o go and what to eat. The room was large, tastefully decorated, clean linen and cleaned to a high standard. The toilet and shower were spotless, put my own bathroom at home to shame, so I felt very comfortable using...
