#87 of 418 B&Bs / Inns in Edinburgh
We are a 10-15 minute walk to Princes Street. We offer three things to our guests - enjoyable accommodation, warm and friendly atmosphere and good food and we do it with pleasure. Although our food is vegetarian and vegan, we have had many meat eating guests over the years and most of them have gone home happy! We welcome every kind of people and look forward to welcoming you.

I spent a weekend here with my grown up daughter. The breakfasts were great, with a range of cereals or not food freshly prepared. The room was warm, clean and comfy. This will certainly be top of my list as a place to stay next time in in Edinburgh.

I travelled at the very last minute to Edinburgh and came across this lovely guesthouse online. Cathy was helpful from first day of contact. My stay turned out to be unforgettable - the vegan breakfast turned out to be a daily treat :) The room and the guesthouse in general are very clean. Cathy goes the extra mile to ensure that guests are feeling very comfortable during their stay - one special think that I liked so much is the usage of cruelty free toiletries. Will never forget this trip, thank you so much Cathy! Some general notes: - walking distance from the main attractions (10-15 mins walk) - if you do not feel like walking, bus stops are literally just outside the guesthouse - you need to pay by cash - make sure to try the potatoes and porridge in breakfast :)

Thank you Cathy for your hospitality you really couldn’t have done enough for us and our stay with you was perfect in every way. I cannot recommend this B&B enough, the room was bright, airy and spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of vegan choices. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Edinburgh.

Our entire family (grandma, mom, dad, 2 sons) stayed for a couple of nights and we would stay here again. We stayed in 3 rooms and the pricing is reasonable. The rooms are bright and attractive - there are black out curtains for a sound sleep. Breakfast was the meal of the day ! Full English, vegan style. Cathy is a perfect host.

We chose this guest house because of the veggie option and it was great. Cathy is so sweet and attentive to food ... breakfast was plentiful and tasty. She has all the extras (juices, yogurts, jams, fruit) and the breakfast room is delightful. The rooms are fun - nicely decorated and with fresh flowers! A very, very nice place, just a short walk up from Leith Walk and about one mile from the train station. Bus stop right in front of the house. Can’t go wrong. Cash only.
